Great tour, lovely lunch. The guys in the cafe didn't seem to have the best system to work with and it seemed a few orders were incorrect but the buffet lunch was great and aboriginal displays were fun and interestingThanks for a great day out

We visited on a rainy day and everything was beautiful. We did the Army Duck tour, which was expertly guided, and participated in the Indigenous dancing. The scenery is divine and the staff friendly and helpful. So glad we visited!

The 45min Army Duck tour was a good school holiday activity to suit the whole family. Our guide was very knowledgeable, patient and kept the tour interesting.

We bought the ‘big nature package’ along with our trip on the Skyrail. Overall, we did and saw a lot which included seeing animals, aboriginal dance/show and the army duck - our tour guide for this (Alicia) was fantastic, very entertaining and informative! We also opted to purchase the aussie bbq which was great, huge range of tasty food.some areas to improve though - we were unaware that the shuttle bus to the park was not included in our package, which cost an additional $13 each for an adult return. For a 10 minute bus journey, we thought this was very pricey! What’s more, the shuttle bus is not very often. When we arrived in Kuranda, the next shuttle bus was in 45 minutes, which meant we would miss the time of our booking so we had to ring ahead to change. The point of a shuttle bus is it’s often and should be free when purchasing a ticket.Lastly, there were a lot of school kids.. this ruins it a bit for other visitors. Overall good but don’t think we quite got our value for money.

If it’s your day 1 in Cairns, then it’s a must do tour. In most of the tours in Cairns and Cape tribulation, you’ll hear roughly the same information about wildlife and rainforest. However, of all the tours, the army duck tour guide was very informative and entertaining. This place also has a lunch buffet option of $20 and it has tons of options to choose from. Note: only1-2 options for vegetarians.

This is a good place to visit and experience. The exhibit is a good experience for family, and to touch the kangaroos. yet we did it as a cruise excursion, and the write-up from the ship gave higher expectations leading to the 4 stars. We expected seeing and doing more. The experience of throwing a boomerang was very helpful to the point that I bought 2 boomerangs because of the experience. The event was very informative.

You can explore the world's oldest rainforest with an amphibious vehicle called the Army Duck. It was fun to go down the sloping roads and swamps. There were kangaroos and wallabies that I could interact with, and I was healed. Also, the view from the monorail is spectacular.

Our trip highlight was the Army Duck tour at this fantastic location, wish we had more time to spend here. Captain Chris made the tour amazing with his informative and humorous approach, especially with the kids. The staff was extraordinary and the scenery was beautiful. We can't wait to come back to experience the whole package. The Aboriginal dance was energetic and educational, and the hosts for the boomerang throwing were accommodating and funny. The café next door had a variety of delicious and refreshing drinks and food, and the gift shop had affordable and great artworks and shirts. This place is indeed worth a visit!
