Had a tour of this place and though it is simple and basic, it does a good job of what needs to be offered. Cafe, bowling, veggie patches, gym, meeting rooms, libraries etc. lots of activities for residents and very quiet. I’m just wondering though if they should make it a gated entrance. Heard there had been a burglary some time ago.

When you get old and can’t be on your own I guess this would be a nice place to be.The buildings themselves have been around for a while and ageing although they are clean and tidy.The staff are friendly and accommodating, I assume they are the same when we aren’t visiting.All in all a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of staff around to help.

The staff at The Lodge, part of the care facility on-site, are exceptional. Their kind and tender attitude towards the residents is truly heart-warming. They are very careful to follow COVID-19 procedures and do more than is required.

I have represented several elderly clients that have sold their home through Ash Marton Realty and moved in to Baxter Retirement Village. We keep in touch with people after the sale and I have always heard great things about this retirement village! They've always been great in assisting people make the transition from their home in to a new retirement setting!
