This portal on UE's website for new connections does not allow anyone other then REC (Registered electrical contractor) to apply for new electricity connections. When the retailers were taking all new connections ANYBODY could apply for them and get them going. Now we are at the mercy of our REC to make the application when they have time as they are so busy. If it worked with the retailers before and there were no issues why is it any different now?? We aren't playing with live wires on your portal, there is no net benefit if all the fields have pre determined answers that we follow the steps with. How can one make a mistake??? 2 hours of my life i won't be getting back..

Had a 11.5 hour power outage on a Sunday from 7am. No hot water, no cooking, no heating. Not good enough. Surely it could have been split or scheduled overnight to reduce impact.

Arrogant staff , company should hire more productive and service oriented staff. Lack of training on customer service, hope that companies like this close their business for good if they can't do their job courteously.

Worst customer service. Staff too busy being offended when you criticize their incompetence to do their actual job. Took 4 months to abolish my power causing delays to the project.Would be better if there were more than one distributor to keep them on their toes. When they monopolize the market they know there is nothing anyone can do.Employing people that speak English would be a good start too.

One of the worse service ever.Its really hard when we don't have any option.I have order them to install power pit to my property and has not been done more than 2 months.Its really good when there are more provides in one surburb.I am not happy to give even 1 star but I can't submit it without it.

Seriously? They send confirmation text messages just after midnight every time you pay for a service. How about you send text messages during business hours instead of waking up you paying customers! Your new charges are off the planet, $8k for a basic pit installation! They call it a quote, you can’t use anybody else! How long does it take to install a new pit? It takes months and months, privatisation at its finest.

United EnergyJust wondering when you are going to actually respond and provide power at my parents property.I've now called 4 times, been promised an update 4 times. And to date not a single call back and still no power to the property. (UECR 018130)The property's power suppy was updated from an overhead supply to an underground supply on November 23rd!The dress up cable on the pole (supplying the existing pit was not there). This was notified to UE 5 weeks prior to the 23rd when the modifcation booking was made. It was also noted in the site notes.It was then notified to UE again on 23rd November.And every time since when calling UE.Since the 23rd November it has been just over 6 weeks with no powerSince UE was initially informed there was no cable on the pole supplying the pit has been 11 weeks.Currently have trades booked to do work from the 9th and they require power as I have on each occasion informed UE when speaking with them.Each time I've asked to speak to someone more senior I have been denied and I've been told it has been escalated and someone is working to resolve it and I will receive an update before the close of business that day.It seems that at this stage UE have no intention of escalating and rectifying this issue in a prompt manner.

This company compares to a third world electricity company.Any hot day the power is out for hours.It’s like living in an underdeveloped county. Well done Andrews and the Managment of United energy.
