Nireeda Apartments on Clare

Big apartment with full kitchen and large bathroom. Clean and functional. Only gripe is the parking, with unsecure street parking (fees potentially applicable) or more secure parking for a fee down the road a bit. Smack in the middle of everywhere. Great if you don't have a car and want to spend time in Geelong.

We did not stay!Reason being, we made the booking through a site which mentioned parking available, this place offers no parking at all!If you have your car full, you are in trouble, nowhere to park!We contacted both booking site and Nireeda, it's been a handball, no help at all, so basically money down the drain!Not happy, would not recommend at all, we booked into the Riverview Cabin park / Cabins, parking available, lots of space and over $100 cheaper!My advise, stay away from this place!

Stepping into the room you can smell a disgusting aroma, well this of course happens if there’s no ventilation in the room, the air conditioner is a small box that hardly provides cold air upstairs, and when upstairs you are greeted with a hot box. The bedsheets were filthy and had some stains. Overall my experience was disgusting.

Affordable price but the property is old and requires a bit if renovation. However for the price it was okay. Facilities in the 2 bedroom apartment were just sufficient for a one night stay if you're looking to just sleep. Location though is amazing!! 3 minute walk to the waterfront and 2 minute walk to Westfield shopping centre! Very central to everything and staff were limited but very helpful

Even if you pay next to nothing and have no expectations, it still won’t live up to any expectations you have of nice places stay.The pub next door plays loud music until late, which is fine if you’re out partying. We aren’t, I get that w ware staying in central cbd so expect something but there a roof tip bar actually ten feet away.Our bathroom floor had pubic hair from some stranger on it.The room smells bad.Just don’t stay here.

Apartment smelt of stale cigarette smoke, otherwise good. The apartment would look great painted a light or white colour, as its quite dark and gloomy atm. It needs that facelift. Cleaner was very apologetic about walking into my room before I checked out. Thankfully, I was dressed but was startled. They need a better communication system to ensure cleaners know whom has checked out and whom hasn't.Good quality bed linen and clean, effective shower

Not very impressed, fridge was off when we got there so we had nowhere to put the perishables we had just purchased. The room was feeling chilly so I decided to put the heater on and it was set on 30 already, not looking good I thought. After four hours the room had hardly heated and after about six hours it started to warm a little, it was also very noisy so we had to firm it off whilst sleeping. Maybe we just had a bad room, but I wouldn't recommend room 118.

Huge room, all amenities needed for a few days away. Excellent location, walking distance to shopping centre, beach, cafes & pubs. Little dirty (tiles sticky, crumbs over lounge) & not very soundproof from other rooms but the bed was AWESOME!

This place was absolutely disgusting when I went a few months back with my family.The couches were duct-taped back together because they had rips in them.It was so hot upstairs, and there was no air conditioning, but had an old air conditioning system downstairs in the main area.Everything seemed so dirty, and the table was sticky. It was very dark as well. Just didn't enjoy it.The people were nice though, and the towels/linen were clean.

The rooms are not what they are described to be. The rooms stinks as soon as you step in the room. Their is absolutely no ventilation in the whole building. There are so many stairs and no lift. The room is like a box and is always hot especially the rooms. There is no AC except for a box which makes so much noise when on and hardly brings in cold air. The kitchen also is below par. Not as described in the ad. Ventilation to cook food is terrible. Walls are so thin, u can literally hear the neighbours. The beds base also had some brown things in it which I thought of to be really disgusting.Overall, I wouldn't recommend no one to go here as it isn't safe for children and above all anyone person in general as you can become sick. For ur safety and convince, book another place to stay as this is a terrible place.
