Mount Hypipamee Crater
This is one of my most favourite rainforest locations to visit on the Atherton Tablelands, especially in summer. The track is clear and well maintained, and Dinner Falls has an excellent little swimming hole underneath. Only a short track, but will challenge people who are not so fit with the elevation back to the car park. Saw a cassowary!

Definitely worth the 30 minute loop walk of dinner falls and the crater. Do crater first and then down. A couple of waterfalls for a lovely dip

Mount Hypipamee Crater
A fairly easy walk from the car park to the crater, the crater track is fully sealed. Well worth a look, an amazing piece of natural history. Well worth checking out dinner falls while you are here. There is a good area for a picnic and a public toilet.

Pretty amazing place, worth the short walk in to the viewing platform, follow the signs along the creek and listen to the water is nice, there is plenty of bird and wildlife to see if your still, good parking, toilets and picnic areas at car park.

Mount Hypipamee Crater
Nice formed path up to the crated with a lookout platform. The track to the falls is uneven and slippery. Last time we were here we seen a cassowary, but no luck this time. The carpark has a toilet and picnic area. The walk is only short to the viewing platform.

Impressive ...need to be very careful on the walk to crater and the waterfalls but worth the long walk. Don't forget to stop and look up. Huge trees and stags.

This place is great heaps of parking bbq area 2 areas with tables plenty of grass area for picnics and ball games, lots of wildlife toilets are a little walk from seating and track. Track is not wheelchair or pram friendly, the walk itself can be tough as it’s a hike not a sealed walk track. It’s a medium walk down but a bit harder back up the hill the crater is amazing and has signage to explain how it occurred. Then you walk down to the waterfall’s which you can here as soon as you turn the corner from the crater. Lots to see and you can have a swim when you get there you may see wildlife it depends on the time you visit. I will be back as the serenity is amazing it really put me back in my happy place

Mount Hypipamee Crater
Lovely spot. Walk down and check out dinner falls as well as the crater. The path down to the falls isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility concerns and there is a bit of uphill leg work to get back but it is well worth a look but It’s an uneven dirt track with lots of roots and obstacles. the path to the crater is paved with just a few pot holes and it is quite impressive. A long drop with a lake at the bottom there is a viewing platform so you can look down, if your ok with heights.

Great little walk from car park. Nice to see a decent viewing platform with a bench top sit on. All sealed, wheel chair friendly, mostly flat. And an impressive site to visit. We spotted a black snake and a tree kangaroo at the car park. Toilet facilities there were most appreciated too. Pictures don't really do it justice, it's much more impressive in real life!
