Purchased a mattress online, didn’t state it was out of stock when spending the money, got a call after the credit card was already charged to say it could be 3 weeks before they get it.Now I have a base, no mattress for the foreseeable future and a husband with chronic back problems having to sleep on an uncomfortable lounge because forty winks wants to be deceitful on their website and neglect to mention that wait times for stock can be up to a month until after they’ve already taken your money, oh and they’re charging us $80 for an exuberantly long wait time too!ONLINE BUYER BEWARE!!!!CHOOSE TO PURCHASE FROM A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY ESTIMATES HOW LONG YOUR DELIVERY IS GOING TO TAKE BEFORE YOU FORK OUT THE MONEY.This close to December, I’ll be lucky if I see the new mattress before the new year.

I placed an order in-store on 8/11/2022 and they said the order will be delivered in late January but we will add 10th Feb 2023 as delivery date(to be on the safe side) which I agreed.I got a call from the store next day(9th of November) to re-confirm the stone colour for bed side tables, the order was not placed with the supplier by then so I asked them to wait till Friday 11/11/2022 so I can visit the store and have a look.When I went to the store on Friday the lady came to me and told me that we've already placed your order with the supplier and now you don't need to look at the bed sides and for any changes and/or cancellation we have to pay 25% fee(I didn't liked her tone, maybe she was more concerned about her sales profit instead of customer service), anyways we liked the bed so I said no worries.Till today there was no update on the delivery so I filled online enquiry form, sent email to reception@fortywinks and replied to invoice email to get an update on delivery.After the emails I got the call from the same lady stating there is a delay(still no delivery date given).After my experience I am really disappointed and will surely not recommend anyone in my circle to purchase from here.

Forty Winks Fyshwick provide excellent customer service that went above and beyond. I have a severe spinal condition and Stephen took the time to ensure I found a bed that would be suitable for my needs. Normally it feels all people care about I'd making a sale but not Stephen, he knew I needed the right" bed and cared enough to help me find this. And Sarah I appreciate the time you took to get it out to me on Friday when I was in tears. I highly recommend Forty Winks if you want the the right bed that your going to spend nearly half your life in."

It was time to get a new mattress and we're so happy with our assistance from Sandra at Forty Winks. Sandra was super helpful, patient and knowledgeable. She made us feel really comfortable when making our decision. Specially when being a big investment for young people like us. Hoping delivery runs as smoothly as it was choosing a mattress with Sandra. Couldn't recommend her assistance enough.

Just want say how impressed I was with the service from Forty Winks from choosing our bed to arranging delivery and then receiving and set up of the bed - all done within 48 hours! The Forty Winks service was flawless. Sarah was delightful, the delivery guys were on time, friendly and courteous. We visited all of the bedroom furniture showrooms in Fyshwick, needing a bed asap. Forty Winks was head and shoulders above the rest in every way. The sales team were friendly and knowledgeable, providing clean pillows cases for us to use when trying out beds. The range was great so we had lots to choose from and they carry stock for immediate delivery. So happy with our new, awesome adjustable bed. Thank you!

Shout out to the incredible customer service by the lovely Heidi.My partner and I had been to pretty much every mattress shop in Canberra and had a range of different experiences with extremely opinionated and pushy sales staff from every other store. So when we walked into Forty Winks we were taken back by the gentle and kind approach of the wonderful Heidi. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and happily answered our many questions, she had the patience of a saint and not once tried to force her opinion onto us or pressure us. She gave us the honest pros and cons, explained to us the realistic expectations and options. She listened to all our concerns and needs and addressed all of them in a professional manner. She was simply incredible and after dealing with so many other sales staff from other stores, her approach and sales technic really stood out. She gave us the confidence to go ahead with the purchase and we honestly couldn't praise her name higher.So if you are after a kind understanding sales person who will listen and genuinely help you find the best mattress for your needs then please go see Heidi. Had a great experience at this store, we went last weekend a bit close to closing time but the staff still served us and helped us with our questions. There were details they could not give at the time because it was late and they offered to email us the quote when they found out. We received a quote very promptly the next morning via email. Made a quick phone call to confirm the details and the order was processed after our deposit. They have been very understanding with our situation as we are building and don't have a confirmed move in. They will store our order until we are ready and loaning us a bed base until our bed frame arrives!Amazing service from Natasha, was trying to catch Cameron that day to let him know the great service we received but he was busy, so I hope he gets to read this.Thanks Natasha!!

Really good range of beds, mattresses and furniture. The showroom floor is much larger than it seems at first glance. The staff are very knowledgeable and attentive to specific requirements, and give space to browse uninterrupted. No 'hard sell' tactics; totally cool with taking photos to think things over at home. Awesome sale prices, too. It would be great if sale prices or discounts were written by the regular prices.
