If passing through and need anything done on your caravan or vehicle stay absolutely clear of this business. Wanted something very simple done and got quoted a a ridiculous price. Only a fool would know that I didn’t need what he was saying I needed. Then after a very quick quote charged me $100 as he had to do it through his lunch break. Left very unhappy.

Well, nope.Just save your money.Bill and Ben are your typical locals. Yeah it'll get do e when we get around to it.In the mean time we'll try sell you new head lights. Upgrade a few wires & up-sell q new system which is not required or needed to fix what you want. $1,500.00 later for stuff all done & 5 days later you'll get it back if you nag.

Phoned up when the alternator was failing and I was losing power whilst 40km outside Bowen. By the time I got there, John had located the required alternator (being an upgrade in the original unit) and they had he back on the road before we could finish our lunch.Ours is not a common car, so was so impressed when he was as able to help me and make suggestions.Thoroughly recommend this business and the people.Thanks again

Normans fitted heavier wire to my existing Anderson plug and reversed the polarity by mistake. When plugged in it burnt out the fridge and some of the caravan wiring. We sent photos of incorrect plug polarity and burnt wiring but the owner denies any liability and offered no compensation. The man was rude, and condescending during our discussions and had no regard for the stressful situation he put us in. His work place is a tip and safety hazard. A reputable business does not operate this way. BEWARE

Highly recommend. Helped us out at short notice when the car aircon stopped working on our way home to Brisbane from Townsville towing our van. They diagnosed and fixed within hours, with reasonable costs. Bonus was we got to stay in Bowen for the night and loved it. (May 2017).

Called looking for a quote on installing an anderson cable (simple job) and they wouldn't quote it because I would just go somewhere else and find it cheaper. Now there's a different approach to business.... Good luck to those customers who drop in.
