Five of us rolled in on short notice. The service was excellent and each dish was superb. My personal favourite was the pork ribs in plum sauce. Finger licking good.The prices were reasonable as well for a top quality meal.I'll be back.

The food and service was excellent , but it was extremely cold in the restaurant. Air conditioning was not on and uncovered glass windows made it quite uncomfortable to stay there.

The New owners have done wonders with the food and atmosphere. Lim's had become tired and unimaginative and I found found the food just okay. Since the demise of the fabulous Oriental Kitchen (Bennett's Hotel ) in Hamilton a few years ago, my wife and I have reluctantly tried just about every other Chinese restaurant in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area hoping to find a decent sate at least. We're finally there since Lim's kitchen came new management. It now looks like a nice place to eat and produces the best Chinese food that we have eaten in years. Keep in up Lim's and you'll see me every week at least. Highly recommend it others

Love this place for delicious Cantonese food, makes me feel like I’m almost back home. Great friendly service. We’ve tried a variety of dishes here and all have been fantastic and of course, the view is second to none, watching the world go by at Warners Bay. Highly recommend.

New owners Kevin and Alan are doing a fantastic job consistently providing great dishes combined with friendly service. More vegetarian & vegan dishes on the new menu and longer opening hours for dinner. Beautiful Lake Macquarie water views out of Lim's panoramic windows is another bonus as are the stunning sunsets.
