The BEST custard tarts in Brisbane. Delicious, crunchy base filled with a generous serving of delicious thick custard & dusted with nutmeg. I've tried over 50 bakeries in Brisbane and these are the best by far!

Thanks to the team at Hawthorne Hot Bread and Cakes for producing the most amazing cake for our 30th Anniversary of the Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra. Thi, your attention to detail in the icing was superb and over 160 people agreed that it was fantastic. Pity we had to cut it up, but it was thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend the bakery for any celebration cakes needed to make your day special!!

Really nice people. Vietnamese bakers make awsome bread. Thats positive racism i think. Lol. Their bread is the best.
