I have to share my displeasure. Clunky, terrible, inflexible software. Like pulling teeth if trying to use on the move. Hard to use in the field, techs hated it. Wish I could claw back some of the $20K + we have spent, and all the time required to set this up. Good bye SimPRO

Poor customer Service. Poor logic apply on basic construction of this software. simPRO should consult with qualified Accountant and Project Engineer / Managers.i wanted to create a receipt and i found the price and quantity does not match. So i decided to quit without creating receipt, sometimes later i realised that receipt was created automatically at purchase order date with all quantities. The system should ask you whether user is ready to save or quite. It should ask you are you willing to create receipt without invoice number".I asked those question to customer service and they said it is 'easier and quick" to save all quantities without confirm with user

Pretty good software to use when working properly however very poor service support when issues arise. Tried multiple times to explain an issue with system trying to bill initial scheduled time instead of actual job logged time only to be told it appears to work fine their end. Requested team viewer to show update times" issues only to be told via email to refer to help guide for further info. Poor service & slowing my business efficiencies down

Feeling very happy to know I can find lots of information in one place. I can take the whole office with me on the iPad. So can the plumbers. Trying things out for the first time is not too daunting. If I can work this, anyone can. Couldn't be happier with the package and especially the trainer. Thank you.

I have been using simPRO since 2009, since trying a few other job software programs I have still found this one to be the best for HVAC / Electrical Trades, connect app did let us down a few times but I think they have corrected those issues now. I do remember when they started outsourcing their support it became frustrating and I did put in some complaints regarding this. Prior to outsourcing the support was second to none! I am currently on the hunt for software to suit a Walking Trail/Mountain Bike Trail business that is about tip into a large scale business in the next 12 months. I am reluctant as I will need a fair bit of support to tweak the software to the needs of the business. Still 5 star software if you can get it up and running, perhaps simPRO should look at support returning to in-house?

Getting fed up with the response to problems we're told are within your build". Been waiting over a week for a fix in response to Simpro Update - Open for Editing - which means staff keep losing work they've entered. And now our labour rate is unable to be adjusted - another "problem within your build that needs referring to Engineering". Too slow to fix these urgent problems. No communication from Engineering. If I wasn't in so deep with this system I'd be bailing on it. It seems updates are made for the sake of being seen to be doing something rather than making changes that would be useful to customers and don't have adverse outcomes. I don't recommend this software system for anyone considering it."

Every second day the system has an outage. This is costing my company significantly in lost productivity and business. Never offered any compensation. We will now be looking for an alternative software with a support desk that actually knows their product.

I identified a serious problem in the API when Simpro sends across sales invoices to Xero, but Simpro refuse to acknowledge the problem or fix it. This was reported to them in June 2020 and they still won't listen. The issue is that when a sales invoice with retention is sent to Xero they alter the sales figure to include retention in the Sales account which is incorrect. The sales figure in the P & L should only reflect the Net Sales excluding gst and retention. This means that all their clients Sales figures will be overstated when sent across to Xero, causing financials, Bas and Tax figures to be incorrect without a manual adjustment. Please be cautious before you switch over to Simpro software, their support is terrible and management won't listen to problems even when you are trying to help them fix it.

Changed our Companies over to Simpro from our existing software in March 2019. After experiencing technical issues within the stock system Simpro support have done nothing to rectify apart from numerous emails asking us to be patient whilst they try to resolve the issue. This has caused confusion and major issues as our stock is incorrect and unreliable with no resolution to date. We have consistently contacted support who have no idea how to fix the problem and keep referring it to technical. This is extremely disappointing and has left us wishing we had never changed systems. I would not recommend any prospective customers to change to Simpro as from our experience they lack knowledge and professionalism, they over promise and under deliver, meanwhile we are left with no answers battling a system that is failing us.
