Cassimaty Park

Great park to spend some time. Lots of activities, has a basketball court, cycling space around the park, skate park and also exercise machines. Easy parking.

Easy parking, skate park, playground for the little kids and gym for the big kids. Has toilets, and you can go for a walk or bring the kids bikes and scooters.

Good local park with play and exercise equipment. Plenty of space to run around, throw a ball and has a skate park. It is not a dog off-leash park.

There are a few great things about this park as well as some no so great things. The good aspects are: A) Lots of shade at the walking/bike track at the lower field due to the tree cover. B) Toilets. C) Adequate seating in the upper BBQ area. D) Outdoor gym facilities with cover. Now for the negatives: A) The walking/bike track gets extremely slippery and muddy after a bit of rain. The water pools in several spots, and there's a lot of soil and silt covering parts of the path. It's a hazard, and I wouldn't recommend the elderly to use the path unless they want to hurt themselves. B) There's been plenty of times that the area near the skateboard/bike park smells of pee. The kids don't bother walking up to the toilets facilities and just urinate around the trees. It stinks, especially when it's a warm day. C) Not enough benches are available in the lower walking path area. D) Not a major negative, but more of an observation. Basketballs tend to go flying out on the left side(facing from the BBQ area)of the basketball court. There's nothing blocking the balls from bouncing off the ring and out onto the grass or path. I see it happen more often than not & wouldn't be surprised when a ball hits an unexpecting person walking past.

A great place for kids and families with undercover seating and a great playground with lots of interesting activites for kids including a large but relatively safe climbing fort and slippery slide. One of the swings is also designed for children with disabilities.Also the nearby skate park is great for older or more adventurous children and teenagers.There is also a large circular bike or walking path although after rain note this can get quite wet and some large puddles form.

Nice park with BBQ facilities, shelters and play ground for the kids. There is a skate park that is very popular and a circular track around a large open space area. Great for an afternoon or a quick visit.

The part with the path and the trees Is brilliant. But the playground has no shade and the slide is a hot as a skillet.
