Easy drive in access 20mins via a 2wd dirt road well sign posted with google maps, just a few slow points for minor pot holes. You don't need a 4wd unless its is currently heavy rain and then seek a glaming option. There had been significant rain in the previous days which meant everything was well cleaned down/green and no dust. Camp areas are clearly marked out and tightly fenced, not really spacious and too close to each other (assume this is to keep campers restrained in a small area). But given the loud music played late into the night by others (Army guys) really didn't get the peace and quiet. Fireplace provided was easy enough to use, bring your own wood. Drop Toilets were nearby/clean enough and given it was a few days after Easter needed a pump out, but otherwise were straightforward and I suggest you don't camp too near them for the smell. Bring your own water and take your rubbish away. The National Park itself is 5 stars with a great variety of wildlife, trees. Beaches. Cliffs. Rocky headlands, Vistas out to sea, walks etc. I bravely/stupidly walked around the rocky shore line between Honeysuckle Beach back to the camp site which took an hour and fell in the water at one point. Do this walk only at low tide given your a determined rock scrambler. Really a largely minimal disturbance to the original land flora/funa etc. Well done Bob Carr for converting so much state forests like this now with National Park protection. Its much the same wild as 40 years ago in the 1970s. Pay the $8 vehicle day pass and $6 booking fee for camping (online) its a very minor charge for quality you can't miss. I Would suggest a quieter time of year than late April. We were very cold, bring lots of blankets etc For the night. A very nice Ranger who was working on a access track nearby jump started my car in the morning, thankyou your a gentleman! given our little over sight take a jump start 2nd battery and don't use it to pump up your air mattresses like us ...(use the car battery with engine running). saw many wallaby, kangaroos, crabs. Sea eagles, gonna, insects etc..possums were straight there at dusk so food is better locked into your boot at night.

Good bush camp quite basic with just toilets and not many flat sites but with great beaches and views for those who love the bush it is great.

Camped here by the Sea, loads of exploring along the rocks and the beach. There was a tree fall across the road during the storm, and the rangers took are of it, pretty quickly. We'll be back.

Access to this campground is via a rough dirt road, suitable for a 4WD/AWD, although a 2WD will make it fine if taken slow. There are a total of 10 unpowered sites to choose from, each separated from each other with fencing and coastal vegetation. Booking is required among all National Park camping sites. Sites are big enough for a small camper trailer, though not big enough for a caravan.Explore North Head beach, a short stroll from the camping area or walk the Honeysuckle Bay walking track. Within North Head beach are unique rock formations, aswell as a blowhole.

Epic place! Could do with a little hand washing/ rain tank fed sink near toilets. There were 3 unmanned sites though even though it was apparently booked out. See a like people book and don’t show up which I don’t mind but people miss out!

Nice walk and close to beachThe campground area to close to each other with vents around the campground to protect the national park. Everything is good until your next neighbour decided to play excessive loud music, inconsiderate with the natural environment and others people.

Campsites are quite large. Easy walk down to the beach, though ocean isn't visible from the sites themselves. Lots of wildlife, wich is a plus for me but maybe not for everyone. Bathroom facilities are really simple, but they were clean and functional. The road there can be a little bit rough.
