Good climb and stunning views. It is quietest on a Thursday morning. A shame people feel the need to deficate on the track and on the peak making the smell unpleasant.

So the missus said this was my birthday present. So make her happy we scaled this heart attack waiting to happen. It was very tough initially but when I realised that an heart attack was not forthcoming to save me from climbing this beast I accepted my fate and focused on just making to the top. Very cold at the top and the view was to die for. It was harder on the knees and joints the way down. This was a very memorable birthday present as I am still in pain 6 days later.

Certainly worth a visit. It'll take you about 90min to get to the summit and about 50min to get down again. Its about 600m in height difference so theres quite some steep ascents in some parts.

Did the early morning climb in the middle of winter with wind and rain. Didn't quite get the view but loved the challenge of the mountain in that weather. Very cold once at the top. Be sure to bring cold weather gear.

Twice visits once in winter, this time in summer. $15 per car, lots of parking and public toilets in parking area. The hike itself will take the average person approx 3-4hrs. The climb is exactly that, constant steps and upward gradients. The terrain isn't too difficult, but it does just go on and on. The summit is worth all the effort though with views all round. The temperature can be a little lower at the summit, even more so during winter. Bring water. Hiking in the summer afternoon will result in no shaded parts.

Breath taking views if you can manage climbing atleast upto 600m mark. Suggested experienced in hiking. Make sure to take a spare jacket (yes, as you go higher it gets cooler, it rains...) take atleast 2-3L+ of waters and dried foods. If the clouds roll out it become slippery, As you go up becareful of the wind and be mindful to keep off the edges and stay close to the walls. If you want to see sunrise and clouds floating beneath your feet, start around 3am in February.

Very clean trail, easy to access. Moderate climb, not overly hard but requires decent fitness level.

It was a great experience for me. The hike was a bit hard on my knees as the steps are a bit steep after a while, but the view was worth it. Always check out for the weather before you go, if it gets misty then you might miss the view.
