If I could rate this mechanic any lower I would. Took a very honest original car to have a service. Apparantley it needed a handful of work done including a reconditioned gearbox. Absolute horrific outcome. After 15 times of taking it back and complaining apparently the fully reconditioned gearbox within 8 months of driving needs to be replaced. I was cursed at from them and threatened. If I could rate a minus 100 I would. Highly recommend avoiding Macrow Automotive as they are money thieving dodgy crooks. After the work they did on my car it has never been worse and only done 1000 k's since the work was so called completed.

Excellent mechanic who actually and genuinely knows his stuff.His motor racing background is evidenced in his affinity for his work.Always reliable, always fair and reasonable with his pricing.I have recommended Macrow Motors to others including a young guy with a potentially very expensive extractor issue. Peter was able to effect repairs at a very low cost, hardly covered his labor.I can confidently recommend him.

I was referred to Peter a few years ago and was so pleased and relieved that I had found a mechanic that I could trust. He is old school in his extensive mechanical skills and his gentlemanly manner. He helped me find a reliable car that wasn't going to drain money on repairs and servicing each year. He charges very fairly and he knows his stuff!
