Do not drive on the beach unless you got 4 wheel drive. Because we got just bogged.

2021 New Years Day 6.30pmOur fav beach!Was like a carpark earlier in the day.Beautiful sandy beach hard as a rock like a road at low tide.

This is a beautiful and very long beach. It really lives up to it's name.It is considered a public road. The usual driving rules apply when driving on the beach. It has a 25kmph speed limit and the police visit the beach often.The only drawback is that the water is very cold.

Awesome beach , please consider speed limit to beach kids and dogs around ! 2wd in summer definitely 4wd out of summer sand will get very soft during winter , great learn to surf waves !

Great beach that everyone can drive on. However that's the biggest draw back about it! You can't really relax as you've always got to be aware of cars, esp if you have kids. Lots of ppl don't drive carefully or slowly and I found this disrespectful & annoying! I was always on edge stressing about our kids safety. Otherwise it's a great beach. Not always the best for SUPs but i caught a great wave on mine! Sunset was the best as most ppl had gone home by then.

Really amazing spot. You can drive along the beach with any car, even bicycles are fine.Beach is safe for all with a nice small surf for boogie boards.

There can't be too many places where you can openly drive onto the sand if the beach and just setup for the day with our a hassle in the world. It's as if there's some unwritten rules because the atmosphere on the beach is incredible. The 10km has everyone stretched out so you end up with your own little patch of paradise. Be sure to bring the gang and your chairs, sunshades etc because once you stop you won't want to leave. If you setup at the right time you can make it through to the sunset (daylight savings time is around 8.30pm) and it's truly remarkable. What a touch of paradise
