Poor staff service!Tonight the skinny young guy behind the bar was more concerned about his phone than my service.I walked off without even an acknowledgment.This isn’t the first instance in a week ether..The other guy on Friday night didn’t want to leave his comfy lounge.This place is loosing its touch quicklySo much for alternate musicShove you’re pop music and your apparent lack of customer service.

Empire is such an awesome place to visit in Cairns City. A place to go and chill out with your mates and play some games and have some delicious cocktails. Special mention to the venue manager Matt who went the extra mile to make sure I enjoyed myself and had a fun night. Great friendly service and all the staff always had time for me and made sure I was looked after. Can’t wait to go back!

Place is good, could use great northern on tap tho, another pool table or two, possible a few pokies, service from Renae was excellent she brings great vibes to the place, didn't try the food tho had already eaten

Great place to hang out.Only thing that needs improving is the chicken wings and califlower bites. I know the wings are $1 each, however they are quite dry and did not enjoy them.The califlower bits are spicy and did not indicate on the menu. Please look into these changes as I love this place heaps

Visited Empire for the first time last night. It was a great atmosphere with heaps of things to do. Air hockey tables worked very well (used to the tables basically not blowing any air), the arcades were great and the selection gave great nostalgia.Drinks and music were unique and excellent.Music bingo was fun and a good selection of multi era tunes.Table tennis was a lot of fun and the staff were very friendly. Look forward to our next trip!

Free Mario Kart 64 is awesome. Arcade games, also great. I found the menu to be limited and greasy, but in the right mood can be fine. After visiting here a few times and waiting 40+ minutes for food I'm sensing a pattern. Most annoyingly, the trivia caller has made climate change denial comments on two separate occasions. He doesn't work for this venue, but they are in a position to stop the spread of misinformation.

August 2022: Empire would beat be described as a dive bar. Adorned with artistically pleasing graffiti, and filled with leather lounges and videogames and table games. Staff are super friendly and beverages are reasonably priced. Super chilled vibes and worth a visit. Would also feel comfortable if you were LGBTQ+.

Happy hour every day from 5-7 was electric, music was awesome, plenty of great games, $1 wings were a great deal, and the vibe was excellent. Thursday trivia was a blast and the bartender was top notch. This was definitely the perfect spot to kill an afternoon in Cairns.

It is such a good location to hang out, play some games and enjoy a drink. Really good atmosphere with a fun selection of games most people can enjoy. The cocktails and bar is great, with a fun range of Pop Culture themed drinks.The food is okay, but there's also a great Pizza spot next door, which also bring your pizzas to Empire, making for a great time.Friendly staff and awesome service!
