Great walking/bike track . I often use to walk my dog. Peaceful and serene. Children's play area ,BBQ facilities, public toilets including drinking water taps for bottle refills. Highly recommended

Mackey Park is a very peaceful park close to the water, perfect for a run near the bay or for a picnic. Multiple playgrounds, also some soccer fields too.Multiple restrooms on site and well illuminated at night, as well as numerous garbage binsCouncil really takes care of this one, great for barbecues too

A beautiful park with the mixture of peace, silence and sometimes a lot of noise when people of all ages are here for there football matches. 2 minutes walk from my home and the river is just so beautiful and serene. Great to have a picnic, for sports and even for a quite walk or cycling. Love to spend time here in many ways as it an amazingly beautiful multipurpose spot of natural beauty.

Very nice place for walking along the Cooks river and having a catch up with friends, located in Marrickville. It is lovely and peaceful indeed, and the best option for a picnic at this area. There are many golf courses near here, and you can enjoy watching soccer matches as well.
