Terrible attitude, ordered 3 items could only supply 2 after accepting my order online ( showed items all in stock at time of purchase ) then wouldnt answer my emails after I accepted the reduced order

Go here if you want to be insulted. Walked into the store the racist owner took one look at me and decided I wouldn’t be able to pay for his measly overpriced products. Honestly I have never experienced such horrible and blatantly disgusting customer service ever.

One week ago i bought a nice little RC car valued at $215, recommend by these guys. Ran great for the Birthday it was for. Great vehicle. On the third time planning to use it, grabbed the battery to plug into the car and the charge end of the battery had the wires just fall out. When they came out they touched and sparked, pulled them apart and pushed the ends back on and wrapped tape around it so it would do it again and put the car away.Today i take it back to the shop, just the battery to show them what had happened, and prior to even looking at it the young gentleman takes it to i, suspect the owner, he comes over looks at it with the tape on and states, i cant do anything about it, it must have been miss handled. I ignore this comment the first time, he then says i can send it off to have it looked at if you want but they will say its just been mishandled as i never seen this. I state if that is your attitude straight up its disgraceful. I stated its not about the small cost of the tiny battery so lets leave it at that and i will give you the review you deserve. As a first time customer whom has actually already bought new batteries for the car and wasn’t looking for any freebies but was concerned at the way it just fell apart and could be a fire hazard, i am appalled at the customer service and will never buy and or send anyone to this shop to purchase a single thing. All due not even looking or asking what or how it happened to just accuse a customer twice if miss handling it. This is why we buy over seas, the customer service beats this behaviour every time .Shameful customer service !!!

Great range of hobbies however you really get the feeling you aren't welcome at times. Went in with my son and 2 staff,no greeting just looked at through the grill. Might just shop online elsewhere in the future.

These guys have knowledge! What they carry can be backed up with great advice or tips to find the right product for what your hobby skills require. My first port of call for anything crafty.

I really wanted to like this store as I grew up in the 90's shopping at the original location in the city so it was nice seeing the familiar plane at the front of the store.Around 12 months ago I decided to get back into my old hobbies after a very long time but unfortunately though the service from each of my 4 visits has been terrible so I refuse to spend any more money there now.As I was just dipping my toes in the water again I didn't want to dive right back into the hobby so I started by buying a modest kit and some basic paints/brushes/glues etc and the gentleman serving me kept scoffing like I wasn't going to do the kit justice by not buying a crazy amount of supplies. I brushed this off and tried not to think too much of it.My last visit was to buy a nephew his second model kit ever for a birthday present and I explained this to the staff member. I purchased a car model, acrylic paints, a brush and glue. Just a simple setup to let him get the job done although this was still more than what I was supposed to spend. The gentleman serving me was scoffing again and chuckling when I declined (politely mind you) the offer to buy paint thinners and other extras. This is a little kid who will happily paint straight from the jar just as I did as a kid, why complicate it for them with things like thinners? The goal is for him to just enjoy a build, not win an award. The staff didn't seem to understand this and made me feel like I shouldn't be spending money in their store. So now, I guess I won't.

This place has a massive range with almost every kind of model or kit out there in stock. Not the cheapest but the sheer amount of options they have makes up for it. My favourite store for buying any kind of car model and all the paints and equipment that you need are right there.

Rang up to ask if they had a brand of paint, the guy says no - try hobbytech, I responded I had but they only have 1 bottle left. He then responded “ well that’s your problem then” and hung up on me. Rude and unprofessional!
