Ideal location for a thriving venue, however the staff display Terrible attitude towards customers. In particular the security who have no respect for the patrons and local community who contribute lots to the venue. Hope to see this venue reach its potential some day.

Waited over an hour for our food. Had table reserved, had to ask for cutlery. Friends was handed a beer can and no glass? Everyone seemed like they didn't want to be there and was horrific. Went there as we get 50% discount. Got less than 50% effort.Food was good but hard to enjoy when you wait so long. It wasn't busy so I don't understand what the hold up was.

Had meal at the Ramsgate was looking forward to it, I ordered crispy pork belly, although the flavours were nice it was not crispy it was gelatinous, hubby ordered wagu rump steak was full of gristle, paid top dollar not happy , was offered a free drink, wow worth it not, won't be going back

Had an amazing dinner experience on Saturday. Food was so fresh and tasty, I loved the jalapeño cheese balls! I really enjoyed the table service too but it was hard to find someone to pay so we could leave.Staff were friendly and welcoming in all areas of the venue. Loved the lay out and the location. The live music from a local musician really topped the experience. I’ll be back here again!

It's a typical pub, it could be a little more special given where it is. Just seems a little impersonal. The meals are huge - if anything too big, drinks are good price. I had the spaghetti marinara, seafood was nice, way too much pasta. Service was efficient.

Great spot with plenty to drink and eat.Late night disco with DJ.Haven't seen drinks specials yet. Will look next time I'm there.Nice place and clean.

I was so happy I chose the Ramsgate Hotel for my recent birthday celebration. Kristal, the events coordinator, regularly kept in contact with me ensuring that all the details and requirements needed on the night were met, and the staff working that evening were similarly friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great night Ramsgate Hotel!

Oceans catch was really good but the beef schnitzel tasted off and old and was inedible. Chips also had a super weird taste. Also the dining room smelt off a bit like feet. Definitely won’t be coming back

This place charges premium rates for what is really a youth hostel with a coat of paint, If you are over 35 I would suggest you avoid it entirely unless you like thumping music until 2am at night. The male toilets (not included in room) were not cleaned for 3 days. Basic room facilities have to be requested which would normally be standard for a room at this price. Even tea and coffee are not provided in rooms. Guests very much come second place to the sale of alcohol in the downstairs bar. I would suggest there are plenty of other places at this price which offer much more comfort.
