The Deck n Yard Xperts

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THESE GUYSWe used this company to install a deck for us at the back and also add two external staircases in front and back where we had retaining walls. After a month and a half of poor excuses (like taking care of sick people, getting COVID, not having enough man power, pulling a muscle, weather not being good, boards not being released from customs, etc), they finally showed up and did such a terrible job. The frames under the deck were not even straight and when I told them they told me wait until the job is finished. They have installed handrails for us which are not even straight and not even 400mm deep into the groups where they should have gone deep at least 800mm to make sure the posts don't budge under pressure. You can move the posts by hand and they wobble like they're just nailed to the boards instead of being in concrete. After asking for more money and us refusing to make sure they come and fix all the issues they left and never came back. They asked us to put a complaint to VCAT which I've done.The boards on the deck also have issues like not being even or at some areas being a tripping hazard.Overall, don't waste a cent on this company if you care about the quality of your job or your health because it's just been two months of stress for us.

I got the hyper flake signature series epoxy done from them in my garage. The end result was no way near to what I was told and was shown in their showroom.There is no consistency in the pattern, a lot of cracks are still visible, uneven surface can be seen clearly in a normal day light.Warranty is nothing but just a trap to get business from you. They promised to come and fix the issues but no one showed up.They are charging premium prices for their services by praising the quality of their products and customer service, but I must say that I'm highly disappointed with the end result and would not recommend them to anyone.Update 12/01/2023: This is still not fixed, in fact they have made it look worse by patching it up from several areas. They agreed to redo it but then kept delaying it by making an excuse of the wet weather and now not answering my calls. I called them several times before leaving this review on Google, the owner of the business said he’ll come for an inspection but he never showed up. Extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.I have attached the latest photos to show how it's looking now.The only option left now is to take them to VCAT.

Awesome work done by the crew! Just needed a small deck and this was completed! They even came out one week earlier then booked originally. Super happy with the deck will use them in the future!

Caner & his crew extended our deck for us. We are extremely happy with the end result & our extra outdoor area. They were even kind enough to show us how to replace the merbau boards on our old deck ourselves if we choose to later on. Extremely competitive on price & very happy with the finished result. Couldn't be any happier with the outcome of our decking! Gee was extremely helpful and very responsive throughout the whole process and the finish product is second to none! It has completely opened up our space outside. Love the material and the colour (new redwood on the back and natural brown on the front). Was tossing up between timber and composite, but so many more benefits for the composite. Very well priced as well! Look forward to having family and friends over to entertain. Had these legends come and epoxy my garage floor. Reliable and job was done better than expected. Highly recommend and friends will also be using. If you need anything done you can rely on these guys. No need for 2nd opinion.
