Disappointed that the heritage rose garden is in desperate need of some love and attention. Weeding overdue, as is pruning and shaping, and needs a fungicide treatment.

Don't rely on their website....says open Monday-Saturday 2-4:30pm... got there at 2:30 only to find it closed...no signs. Rang the Hay Information Office only to be told that they are only open on Saturdays. Gardens veryneglected.. desperate need of some weeding and general tidying up.

Unique place in the bush. A bit much for one person though. But I suppose he was a bishop. Lovely gardens in spite of struggling in the drought. Knowledgeable volunteers. Hope some younger people start to help replace these people.
