Cosy vibes, relax atmosphere. I always come here for my work lunch. They have lunch specials menu for $10. My favourite are Sweet & Sour Pork with rice, Fish Fillet with Cream corn sauce, Chicken & Pineapple Fried rice, Fried Hokkien noodle with XO Chilli sauce & Combination Noodle soup

Ordered take out a few times here - Consistently good comfort Chinese food. The king prawn omelette is my go to. Generous servings and quick delivery without breaking the bank.

Really great spot for an old school Chinese meal.Recommend the deep fried duck, beans with minced pork and dried shrimp, and the chilli chicken.All the good was great, service is warm, friendly and very quick.If you’re looking for a great, casual spot for a wholesome, reasonably priced Chinese meal - go to Choys !

Fantastic food experience. We went in around 30 mins before their arvo closure and no one was in the restaurant, but the owner did not give us any attitude. Instead, he treated us with coconut chicken soup(so damn delicious) and provided 10/10 service. The foods were really tasty and the free desert they served was always adding so much value to this wonderful experience! Will definitely come back again.

In inner-city Sydney, it is far easier to dine out on Big Chinese Restaurant flavours than to find a small intimate space serving simple, traditional and well-executed dishes. I have avoided Choys for years due to its closed-up facade but changed my mind after two visits in April and May 2018. It is now my go-to for classic home-cooked style Chinese (Cantonese/Shanghainese) dinners.Highlights: slices of melting-soft pork belly with preserved vegetables (eat both together), egg foo yong with prawns (soft chunks of just-scrambled eggs with bouncing fresh king prawns), the copies of whimsical artwork by a famous Chinese painter at every table.

Great friendly service. Food was what you’d expect for this price range. We ordered the treasures duck, Shan Tong chicken, tofu hot pot and water spinach. Apparently they also have a competitive lunch special at $8.50 per dish. Would come again.
