Ipswich Dental Care

I have had two fillings performed in the previous 12 months. I had no discomfort from the decay in either tooth, suggesting that neither of the teeth that were apparently decayed had made it into the nerve cavity of each tooth. I have witnessed one xray after returning to have a check on one of the filled teeth as it became uncomfortable. The xray showed that the drilling performed went into the nerve cavity. This causes the nerve in the tooth to die. This is what has caused the pain I now experience. The second tooth is now having the same problem.Never in my 53 years has this happened after seeing a Dentist. I have heard that some dentists do this intentionally to have reoccurring customers that require expensive treatments. Both teeth will soon require root canals. I will not be returning for the Root Canal treatment. Will take my money elsewhere, just to be on the safe side.

My family and I have been using Ipswich Dental Care for approximately 10 years now and there are many very good reasons for that. The whole team is professional, friendly, flexible and caring. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

My personal experience with this place was horrendous. I wanted to get cosmetic dental work, so I went to this place after seeing such good reviews and what I found for myself was atrocious. I don’t remember how many times I had to get my veneers REDONE because they didn’t do a proper job but it was painful and mentally draining. The job of my veneers was so horrible I had to get it redone from another dental clinic. They didn’t make sure my blood wasn’t going into the veneer whilst it was getting done and that caused grey/purple stains and the dentist let me leave, it was quite noticeable and she didn’t care and let me leave. I went back, had them redone and she was SO rude like I was nothing but nice and she was rude for no reason. She redid them 3 times and still I got random chips, or weird colours that weren’t there before. The head practice dentist then saw me and he redid them like 3 times and I wasn’t happy with the result. He tried to cover the bits of grey from where they let the blood seep through with more veneer and it left a line so obvious. I then got a refund. The way the head dentist handled it was unprofessional. Although the dentists are very egotistical and rude, the dental assistants were very nice and so was reception.I would never go back to this dentist clinic and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else would.

It has been years since I have been to a dentist. I was quite nervous, however, my tooth was more painful. Firstly, Bridget on reception was very friendly and welcoming. Dr Chen made me feel quite relaxed and less stressed. The next day Bridget rang to ask how I was going I was in so much pain. She advised me to call today if still no change, there was no change I got an appointment with Dr Christie. Wow, she was so quick to resolve my issue which was dry socket. The pain has pretty much subsided if I could I would give them a hundred stars and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Thank you all so much. Sonja T

I brought my 4 year old daughter here for her first dentist appointment today.Wow.Staff are so kind and friendly and it was such a relief to watch how inviting and playful they were with her. She was nervous and wasn't sure what to expect and it was just so wonderful to see the amazing staff do their thing! Thank you so much for being so good at your jobs! It really is appreciated.

I had a dental appointment with Helen, the oral health therapist, at Ipswich Dental Care this week. She was thorough, helpful and very skilled in assessing my mouth, teeth and gums, and she scaled, cleaned and polished my teeth to perfection. Highly recommended!

When it comes to see a dentist, my 3 years old son gets quite nervous. However after seeing Dr. Chen, he felt totally relaxed and safe. Thank you for the excellent treatment this morning!
