Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs Murarrie

About a month ago I booked my car into Capital Smart at Murrarie to get my boot repaired as I got rear ended. The amount of trips I had to do back and fourth because they didn’t fix my car right the first time is ridiculous. When I was told my car was ready to pick up I went and collected it and on arrival told me that they didn’t order a lock for my boot therefore I needed to take it back after the Christmas break to get fixed as I still wasn’t able to open my boot. This made it very difficult whilst we were away camping on holidays as I couldn’t even access the boot of my car. When they reopened after Christmas I took my car back to them to get the lock installed in the boot of my car. This took about an hour and finally it was done and I could take it home. On my way home I noticed the door light on my dashboard was on. When I got home I re-shut all of my doors including the boot (which was finally working now) and the light remained on. I called Capital Smart again to let them know of the issue to which they said I needed to go back so that they could fix it. This was very frustrating as it takes 45 minutes to get there (when there’s no traffic) and 45 minutes to get back home. The next day I took my car back and it took them another hour to fix the issue. About a few days after getting my car back (supposedly fixed) I was alerted by police that my right taillight (break) wasn’t working. From this I was given a warning. I called Capital Smart and they told me to go back there again so that they can fix it. I would not recommend this place as they don’t seem to know how to fix problems the first time around.

My mechanic was wonderful. He went through everything that they would be doing with the car, and gave me an estimated time of completion.The customer service team member on the desk was very prompt, helpful and friendly.Definitely recommend this business in future.

My insurer recommend I take my newish vehicle to Capital SMART. The staff we courteous and polite. When doing the pre-release inspection of my vehicle, the CS member walked me over to someone else's car and started to explain all that good work they had done and I had to point that it was not my car and it was the wrong model and colour. Once we did locate my car I was forced to inspect it while it was reversed up to a fence & positioned narrowly between 2 other cars which makes it very hard to look at a rear end repair. They did fit lots of new parts but they did not paint them the right colour as there is noticeable difference. All the newly painted parts have really bad orange peel effect. The fitting of the parts is not correct as there are uneven gaps in several places and some corners are sitting proud by apx 3mm. The external foot wave sensor is now installed on the opposite side of the car to where it was when it went in to be fixed. What's worse is there are new scratch's on both rear wheel archers that were not there and I have photos that can prove that. And lastly they failed to fully paint all of the tailgate as you can see and feel bare metal on the inside lip of the boot. I reported this to Capital & a supervisor came out and looked at my observations and admitted that they did not do a very good job" and that he would order more parts in and could they try & fix it again

Exceptional at what you do. Thanks to the whole team. You guys really run a slick operation. Booked in online at 11am Tuesday, for 11.30am (30mins later), drove over to you from Newstead, was called Thursday morning to be told my car was completed.If I could give more stars I would. Keep it up.

I can not fault these guys for the repairs done to my car, they even helped me with a flat tyre that needed to be fixed after finding 2 nails in it.

They gave me outstanding service on my Mercedes. I had an issue when I came home and they even came to my house to fix the problem. So happy. Everyone so helpful. Thank you.

Although the word, S.M.A.R.T, is in the name of this location, best believe the people working there are not. The receptionists there are rude and condescending, they will take any opportunity to belittle you. They will talk badly about you, a paying customer, to other workers, right in front of you. The people here are led around by their ego, always trying to feel better and more superior than you, ever though it is just a car repair shop. Would not recommend. Made the mistake once, will not go back there again.

Multiple delays on my vehicle. It wouldn’t have been an issue with the delays if I was given notice. My car was delayed four times and I was notified on morning of pick up each time. I had already arranged for time off work to collect my car based on their assurance that my vehicle would be ready to collect. Poor experience and no accountability when I expressed my frustrations.
