Steve is the best! Will not rip you off or take advantage of you in any way, shape or form. He is amazingly helpful and very friendly - I don’t know where I would be without him to make me realise that another garage was trying to take advantage of me. I highly recommend him.

Had my oil changed here a few times. Cheap and does a good job.

I took my car into DV Automotive on the recommendation from a friend, having just had a bad experience elsewhere. I dealt exclusively with Steve. He changed a few parts and charged me $970. He also told me that I had a problem with the water flow that would need looking at down the track.The car appeared to run better for a while and then reverted to the same condition as before leaving it is unreliable and just about un-drivable. I phoned and spoke to Steve. He was fairly terse and informed me that it would have to come back for diagnosis at my cost.This seemed completely unreasonable to me as I had just paid $970. After some haggling he agreed to give me an hour with no guarantee of finding problems or solutions. The tone that he said it with left me in doubt it would be a wasted journey, but I agreed and made a time. Which was a week away.The next day I spoke to the friend who recommended DV to me and she was shocked. She also thought it was a waste of time and energy taking it back to DV again. I agreed so I canceled the appointment and am looking for a new car or someone who can tell me what’s wrong with mine and how or if it’s worth fixing.DV (Steve) should never have taken my money if they couldn’t fix it. It’s an old car and I feel that any mechanic should point out when it’s getting to the point when it’s not worth spending the money.Also as a professional Software Designer, I am able to walk into any company and quickly tell them how to solve any issues they have and I always do the diagnosis for free, I expect the same from other service providers.Obviously, I don’t recommend DV Auto unless you have money to burn.

Great honest service and advice at a very reasonable cost. We are new to the area and have definitely found our new mechanic.

Honest, thorough and reliable service. Steve and team are trustworthy and experienced and have always provided us with excellent service over the past 6 years. One of the best things about the service here is that Steve and team will telegraph issues that he foresees requiring attention at the next service, so that these do not come as a surprise. Cost of replacement parts are always reasonable and communication on the day is always clear and timely. I would not consider going anywhere else.

The guys always do a great job, and I love their honesty. They don't say you need 10 things done if they're unnecessary and are really thorough at explaining the work they've done. They even inspected a car my sister in law was thinking of purchasing (and did) for her so she could have confidence in it. Thoroughly recommend DV Auto.
