Huge area for vans cars trucks. New picnic areas and toilets. Off the highway so minimal noise only. Shady trees restful.

Plenty of space, shaded dirt sites with open fire pits. Tarred space for those not prepared to leave tar. Toilet facilities - very clean and well stocked. The minimum standard roadside stops should be.

Nothing fancy about the place. This was the only decent rest area on the way to Dubbo. But was good as it had toilets which were really needed on that stretch of the road. Very dull run and very dry too. Overall not to bad for some rest.

Loud low frequency hum pervaded the rest area all night from the line of trucks parked along the NE access lane running their equipment continuously.Suggest parking at toilet block end, or behind toilet block to be furthest away from truck noise.

Lots of flat areas in shade or sun. Good view to the south and very quiet. Composting toilets are cleaned regularly as well as picnic tables and benches. A good stop.

Great place to stop on your way past for toot or overnight. 2 sets of clean toilets (with paper lol). Picnic tables/chairs and rubbish bins. 3 entry points all tar. Plenty of parking.
