Taft Apartments

Taft Motor Inn is a great place to stay! Excellent location, and the apartment was clean and well-maintained. A nice selection of kitchenware provided too, and on-site parking is very convenient. Staff were very friendly. We hope to stay here again. Really good value for money. Thank you Taft Motor Inn!

Fantastic location close to the beach and shopping and cafes, but out of the main area so you have peace and quiet in the eveningVery short walk to the beach, free parking is on site, rooms are comfortable

Rooms clean, curtains don't keep the lights ,beds fine, shower curtains are a bit old. Great spot to walk to great cafes and restaurants.

We were pleasantly suprised from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the lovely lady in reception. The room had everything we needed, was in great condition and was very clean. Judging from the car park the place was quite booked the night we stayed but we didn't hear anything from the other guests while in our room. The continental breakfast was just what we needed to pick us up after a wedding the night before. I definitely recommend Taft if you're looking for superb quality from a budget stay.

Great location, rooms are clean and well maintained and very reasonable prices. The room we stayed in was well equipped and the cleaning crew are do a fabulous job . We were extremely impressed.

Extremely disappointed , freezing cold , no electric blankets on beds, air conditioner filter thick with film of fluffso didnt work efficently it was as noisy as could be vibrated . Frige dirty inside , mould in bathroom, overall not a good experience .Will not stay there again.

Gorgeous little apartment, well presented, clean, very comfy beds, fully furnished with everything you need to cook etc. Will definitely be keen to stay again. Only criticism would be that they are a little pricy considering there is no view and still a bit of a walk to the beach but I'm still happy with my purchase.

The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The unit we stayed in was an older style but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and we would definitely stay again if visiting Glenelg

I had stayed at the Taft twice during my final year living in Adelaide, both of which were not only amazing experiences, but have proven to be hugely beneficial during very critical times in my life. The 1st time was when I was finishing my uni semester(of which my then-place undermined my performance), and the manager(her name is Sarah if I recall correctly) and she specially arranged one of the most spacious rooms at Taft for me to stay for 4 nights, and thanks to the fresher environment I managed to finish my assessments for that semester to satisfactory results. The 2nd time was in a smaller albeit good-sized room where I lived my final month in Adelaide, which still provided a great living, working and music practicing space while I tied up some loose ends before leaving Australia due to compelling circumstances, and the manager was very accommodating to my unpredictable schedule and extended my stay with little problem even on very short notice. Both rooms are spacious with well-sized furnishing, good wifi reception as well as efficient air-conditioners. In addition, the prices at the Taft had been very reasonable(as of 2021) for its size & quality, especially compared to hotels & apartments of its class. An amazing accommodation that gets my highest recommendation!!

I have stayed several nights and always go back. The rooms are comfortable and good sized with TV and air conditioning. The Taft occupies a quiet but convenient position to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets. The nearby Square is the terminus for frequent tram service to Adelaide city Centre. Excellent.
