Goalkeepers United Academy

Living in regional Victoria it hasn't always been easy for us to find quality Goal keeper training for our son. Coming across Sam at Goalkeepers United has not only been a developmentally beneficial experience for our son but the professionalism and commitment to help the kids reach their highest potential has been evident from day one. The entire team at Goalkeepers United is skilled, professional, knowledgeable and supportive and they have made a huge difference in our sons football development .Thank you to Sam, Regina and the team!

Every week our son is super motivated to attend training which makes the whole experience for us all really enjoyable. The focus is on skill, leadership and teamwork. The coaches are all amazing - they show support and passion teaching these skills but are tough when required. Being a goalkeeper is not easy. There is an emphasis on strong skills and strong minds. The older boys are very supportive of the younger boys - it warms our hearts when we see them motivating them to do their best and cheering them on. We recommend this Academy 100% if you want your child to grow emotionally and expand their skillset then this is the place for that to happen!

My son has gained so many skills and increased confidence since joining Goalkeepers united. Sam and the team are fantastic coaches with the right mix of experience, empathy and leadership. My son has just recently joined the west branch with GK United. The difference between this and other competitors is the careful selection they have in the coaches. These are not “winged” classes and have been thoroughly thought about.

I have been incredibly impressed with the United Goalkeeper Academy since my son started attending several months ago. My son has been with Sam for over 5 years now. What Goalkeepers United have provided, is a great insight into the correct technics and preparations needed to be a good goalkeeper. Their approach and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure my son's progress is where he needs to be at, is excellent. Goalkeepers United are also not like other Academies around where they watch the clock to make sure you only do the prescribed time. They will go over time if the coaches really want to make sure the players have understood what has been taught.I Highly Recommend GOALKEEPRS UNITED for any player starting or wanting to improve their goalkeeping!

Sam and his team of goalkeepers provide an excellent service. The kids get clear instructions before each lesson and a review of how the lesson went. The coaches are hard but fair on the boys. Definitely seeing improvement. Would recommend GK United Academy to anyone with a child interested in learning the art of goalkeeping.

My son, Marcel (currently Under 9), has been with head coach Sam and his team of coaches since about August 2022. The training sessions are well planned and executed, and they are all about skills, techniques and positive reinforcement. I can see Marcel’s constant progress in skills and confidence. He wants to be a keeper … well with Sam … he is in good hands. As an academy for goalkeepers, there is nothing comparable around.
