Attune Hearing Brisbane

I accompanied my father to an appointment with Attune Hearing (Damien). Both my father and myself were so impressed with the service. Friendly, efficient and extremely thorough. A vast improvement to another hearing centre we attended just one month earlier. Would highly recommend.

Audiologist was fabulous with my daughter who can often be nervous about leaving me! Only thing I would have loved was more of the audiologist's advice, feedback and detail about the results we received. I got the impression she wasn't permitted to say too much which was frustrating given she's the specialist! But, on the whole a fabulous service!

Finding an audiologist who I was comfortable with was on my To Do list when I moved to Australia. I did my research and choosing Attune Hearing was the best decision I made. Not only have Karen Pedley, Cochlear-Senior Audiologist, and Barbara Roberts, Cochlea Client Advocate, supported me through my many issues with my old N6, but they have put me on a journey with my new Nucleus 8.I didn’t qualify for any financial assistance through NDIS, a process Karen assisted me through, due to my Visa status. Karen however supported me until I was able to save for the new N8.I was her first N8 recipient. Even though I have had the implant for many years, learning about the N8 was still an emotional experience. I love music & being able to stream to the processor without the phone clip, was just fantastic. No phone clip required!So far, I have no issues with the high humidity we have here in Queensland. This is so important to me, as I work outdoors. Another huge plus.The App is fantastic. A great tool to assist you in terms of information & programs re: your N8. Lots of bells & whistles, which Karen or your Audiologist, will hook you in to.If you’re sitting on the fence re: the N8, believe me, you need to get off it & start the process. If you are like me & have to save for it, have a chat with the Attune Hearing team. You will be supported. Very professional service. I received honest, personalised advice from the audiologist and didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything. They considered my needs as a person, and the impact of hearing on my lifestyle, before recommending options.

The team of Audiologists that conducted the hearing test with my 3 year old were very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and had great rapport with my daughter. The receptionist was also very nice. I would recommend Attune Brisbane City to parents of young children.

The team at Attune are amazing - efficient, caring and always prepared to assist with any questions, in particular when its around junior patients.The front desk team are super friendly and always happy to help, whilst the audiologists are professional and caring in their approach. I can't recommend them enough, for young or old.

Yesterday I attended a hearing test at Attune Hearing Wickham Terrace Brisbane City following a referral from my GP. I was somewhat nervous / apprehensive as to what to expect however I need not have worried. My consultation was with Joanna (Audioligist) who was excellent. She clearly explained the process well and kept me informed / communicated all the way through the testing with her lovely / pleasant personality. At the end of the testing she explained in general terms the results / indications and correctly advised I would now need to sit down with my GP to discuss the results / ongoing needs. My experience with Attune Wickham Terrace (Joanna and also Catherine & Lisa at reception) was very professional and I would thoroughly recommend Attune to family and friends. Thank you. Greg Brent

We took our 2 year old daughter for a hearing test in January at the Wickham Tce branch. The male audiologist made a very quick judgement and thought it appropriate to tell us he thinks our daughter has autism or ADHD. He also made numerous comments that her behaviour was not “normal”. As first time parents we were shocked and upset (I was in tears). No reassurance or comfort or so much as a tissue was offered. After leaving we have discussed with our GP as well as other medical professionals all of whom agree that this was highly inappropriate for the audiologist to say this. He is not qualified to diagnose these things, merely to test hearing. I certainly would NOT recommend anyone else to go there. Bedside manner has left a lot to be desired.

Jay's knowledge and customer service second to none.From assisting me in choosing the right hearing aid to promptly addressing any follow-up assistance.He has always been calm and friendly, an astute patient listener and a thorough clear communicator.

Audiologist Jay Lee is one of the best I have ever met. His knowledge and ability to understand client needs is simply excellent. He is astute, empathetic and absolutely brilliant in his technical skills. On the dot punctual. Extremely impressed and loved the experience of getting hearing aids. Receptionist Emma is also really warm and welcoming.
