Also, our experienced chef prepares Asian mains as well, like the most popular dishes: sweet sour pork (sweet sour sauce with crispy pork), spicy chili mapo tofu, Chinese Taiwan style salt and pepper chicken, and lemon honey chicken. Traditional authentic Chinese handmade dumplings and wontons, different kinds of fried rice—it's a great idea to order from one restaurant with everything you want! This was damn good. $10.80 for their single pack is a steal. The fish was cooked deliciously and didn’t taste like the oil was dirty. Great amount of chicken salt too. The staff were very friendly and subbed out a potato cake for a dim sim! Will definitely be back. Old school no frills fish and chip shop.

Quality fish and chips: you know the kind that, in a small country town, you’d find at the miscellaneous local takeaway shop? No fuss, not super fancy; but always golden, crispy, delicious, and reasonably priced? That’s the vibe here.They even do hot dogs in batter, which I hadn’t had FOR YEARS, until I found this place!Ordered flake and chips yesterday, and once again wasn’t disappointed. The chips were perfectly cooked, the flake was crispy, and our $40 order fed three adults.Seriously, if you’re on the fence, give this place a go!!

Went for Sunday lunch and ordered a family pack. They don’t take card, only cash. So I went and got cash out, came back and they hadn’t started cooking the food, so I had to pay then sit and wait. The chips were ok. Potato cake was thin but ok. “Calamari” rings were some processed mushy stuff, not actually calamari rings. Fish was flake which is fine, but the fillet was so thin and the batter so thick that it wasn’t enjoyable. Good volume of food for the money, but not quality enough for me to go back.

No frills old school fish and chips-just like when I was a young kid-potato cakes are the best and they always give a generous serve of chips-the burgers are great and very tasty-good value for your money-definitely recommend

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The fish is drenched in old oil and it’s NOT FRESH fish. The calamari rings are very bad - NOT REAL calamari rings either, it’s that highly processed stuff and has a floury texture. The potato cakes are awful - don’t taste like potato and they’re chewy, not even crunchy. Comes with NO LEMON slice. And the chips are like an orange yellow colour because of the oil. The calamari rings and potato cakes are definitely frozen stuff out of a packet. I’m not sure about the fish but it’s likely out of a packet too because it’s definitely not fresh. We were sadly very disappointed

Terrific local fish and shop shop. Plenty of food options. Quick, cheap, and the staff are always friendly. Plus open relatively late (10 pm) which is always handy! Highly recommended :)

Local chippy shop. What you see is what you get. Will normally go and pickup dinner once or twice a week. They're never stingy with the chips!
