Has been well developed over the years. One of the best ramps here because it has a tiny amount of sand to pull your boat up on after launching.

Often difficult to reverse in and having to park a fair way away because of the restaurant on the car park. Shallow at low tide so check that.Lantern St boat ramp is good at all tides.

Nice grassy area to enjoy the waterfront and as a kayaker top spot to launch from with cafes close to finish a kayaking day off.

Wharf’s not very friendly for launching kayaks. Our group went early morning so at least we could park.
