Brush at Googong

I’ve been going to Brush for several years now and keep going back for a whole bunch or reasons. The colouring service is great, the cuts are great, the ladies are all delightful, entertaining, caring and funny. The vibe in the salon makes it such a delight to be there. I’m always asked if the water temperature is ok, I’m always asked if I want a treatment, I’m always asked if I want a head massage. They’re always up for a chat, but equally happy to leave you be if that’s your thing (in general or just on the day). They always work to make sure that not only is the service great, but that their clients are comfortable. I always look forward to my appointments and highly recommend the services provided by Elise, Sophie, Gemma and Ivy.

I have been going to Brush now for over 3Years, and each time the results are consistent & to my desired outcome.If you want an incredibly clean blonde then look no further… in all my years visiting hairdressers, this blonde is by far the most natural pearly & beautiful texture I have ever had. So many compliments. The salon is always clean & full of life! A great vibe!Elise and her team make you feel welcome and part of their “work” family. The whole experience was amazing from the ease of booking online, thorough to the wash, cut and style. As someone who is growing out a colour and allowing my natural colour to come through I was never once judged about that or pressured with different colour choices etc I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hair dresser! Although I didn’t have a colour the colours of other people looked amazing!

Brush at Googong is genuinely the best hair salon I have ever been too! Elise and Sophie are incredibly personable and make everyone welcome! I couldn’t recommend them enough, they make you feel so at home! The quality of their services is immaculate and provide amazing hair care!

I’v had traumatic experiences with hairdressers before & it has made me a very fussy customer. Elise was patient & understanding listening to my concerns. She is a talented hair dresser & the best I have had in ten years.I had a full head of blonde foils, hair cut & treatment twice now at this salon. Both times I have enjoyed my experience here.. all the girls who work here are amazing. Gemma who washed my hair asked if the temperature of the water was ok and to tell her if it was too hot or too cold, she was gentle brushing my knotty hair. The apprentice who styled my hair done a great job. I had my hair cut by Sophie last time & she done an amazing job. Not only is Elise a fabulous hair dresser & person but you can tell she is a great boss. This is the kind of business I want to support. Value for money is outstanding!

I have really debated about posting a review here but I feel it important that people see Brush from a different perspective. I was new to the area and so I went in and asked to book an appointment, I asked for a quote and I was told about $200. The day I go to my appointment I explained the history of my hair and what I wanted, there were no comments made about what I wanted being unfeasible. To clarify I was naturally blonde seeking to go blonder so I wasn't asking what I believed was a lot. When washing the bleach out of my hair their basins would only pour out extremely hot or extremely cold water and when asked why I was told that's just how Googong taps are". I then asked to only have the cold water as my head was raw from the bleach but they kept putting the hot water on. After a toner they began blow drying my hair and when I looked in the mirror my hair was three different colours
