Stanthorpe Cabs & Limousines

Excellent service provider who are always a pleasure to deal with. Obviously over weekends like the one just gone (Apple and Grape Festival) they do the best they can when dealing with larger than normal patron numbers.

For our girls weekend away we booked a Stanthorpe Limo for 5 hours to drive us to several wineries in the region. Much more economical than a standard wine tour, and it meant we could choose the start and finish time that suited us, and we chose what wineries we went to. We even added a stop at Washpool Soaps on the way past for some retail therapy.Our driver Rita was a lovely lady with a good sense of humor and most importantly a safe driver.All communication with John to make the booking was prompt and informative.I’d highly recommend traveling in the region this way. The company apparently also cater for larger groups as well, which is even more economical than your average wine tour and you can cater to your own tastes in wine.A hidden gem in the Stanthorpe region.Highly recommended.

Extremely rude and poor service. I pre booked over the phone, the man taking the booking got confused and booked for 8pm instead of 8 people when I corrected him he got angry and was mumbling and swearing over the phone. Then the man that picked us up in our maxi taxi was so rude the first thing he said to us was “it’s $80 each way, can you afford that”. In the maxi taxi one of our group was hot and asked for the front window to come down and the taxi driver locked the window! He was then 30 mins late picking us up. We will never use this company again although you’re a bit stuck as there is only this company in Stanthorpe. Nicer just to cook at home or stay drink free and drive in.

Drivers were great, service was swift and it was a comfortable ride all around.

Very disappointing service. After phoning 1.5hours earlier to order a cab we were forced to phone again to see if they intended on arriving any time soon as our venue was about to close. The number was busy/ in use for a solid 20mins following that and when we finally got through they could not give us a time they intended on being there, insisting “we would get there when we could”.Stating our venue was about to close and we had ordered this cab close to 2hours ago I asked if they would definitely be here in the next hour and no guarantee was given, again insisting “when they could, but hopefully in another hour!”.Meaning we would have been waiting close to 3hours we managed to organise a trip back into town from a lovely gentlemen who was heading in that way.This was not a once off occurrence either, and has happen to us on at least 3 out of the 5 times we have used this service. Such a shame that now we just plan to drive or organise private trips given how unreliable they are!Never do they ever state how long they will be and the drivers are always very rude and make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them, even though their prices are always very extortionate and they never run the meter.Would not recommend. Quicker walking.Finger crossed a better service/ company becomes available soon.

Honestly these guys deserve more money, great taxi service nothing is to much trouble.

Over john and his company no set fees wen meant to be....lost wallet over night called and they said will let me know asap, n never not even a week later got a call msg nothing...all it needed was a call to say no not there. So so rude and overpriced and the wait is pathetic.

A great business with brilliant ethics. They work tirelessly and continually on their busines and the community. Great job guys, keep up the fantastic job.
