I’m always happy to stop at the old Matilda’s, now known as Puma Kybong. Great variety of ready to go food. Outdoor eatery that overlooks extensive duck ponds and water features. Restrooms and other amenities are clean and well presented. With the opening of the new section of highway it’s now a quiet spot to stop eat and refuel. Hopefully their business will not suffer the lack of traffic.

I have been a long time supporter of this service centre. (Over 25 years)Fuel prices are always competitive and the food options have always been wide ranging and fresh and made to order. The staff are great. The big question is will the relocation to the new site deliver the same if not better outcomes. If it does then I will continue my support for the service centre. If not I will look elsewhere.

We arrived late around midnight, in our camper-van.We drove down the back of the service station and camped over looking the ponds with swans and ducks and lots of different wildlife. We had a shower in the morning, that costs $3 each.not bad for a nights accommodation eh.food court is walking distance from the free camp ground. We would highly recommend this place, the rest room's and showers where very clean and well kept.

Great place to stop for fuel a feed and have a rest and maybe a shower that they have available at the back. The place has plenty of parking both out the front or for the longer vehicles out the back. The restaurant has plenty of fresh takeaway food prepared or they will cook something for you from the menu

Place is good for refuelling. Too many tourist buses so don't stop here for food. Wait is far to long!!!! 45 minutes to wait for simple.bacon and eggs. Seriously! Best to go to Gympie short 9km awsy as far more variety.

I'm only giving it 4 starts instead of 5 because its advertised as open 24 hours but there's no fuel between 10pm to 4am. Lucky I had some extra fuel until the next stop.

Convenient stop with a pretty view on the pond and the hills behind it.It would be a lot better if there were more food choices.

Very good petrol prices with a discount for RACQ members. As it's no longer on the highway most of its closed. Still does hot box & truck stop food which isn't nice. It's either very old in the hot box or it's been badly cooked. Still acts as an interstate coach stop for the bus lines. You can still see Matilda the Kangaroo as seen in the Brisbane Commonwealth Games which is pretty cool.

Now off the highway but still has cheap fuel. Also has free camping area that is clean and well kept. Most of the other services are now closed but hear the coffee and food is OK. Well worth the detour.
