Bar Padres
5 stars all round. Visited this venue for lunch with my Mum whilst in Kiama for the holidays. The food and drinks were incredible, service was warm, friendly and attentive. The restaurant is on a residential street which gives it a homely feel, I really enjoyed that. If it's a nice day, I recommend sitting outside for a beautiful view of the ocean. Look forward to visiting again.

A surprise little bar we came across whilst driving to the little blowhole, we decided to go there for dinner and drinks. First off, the atmosphere was an interesting balance between fancy and trendy, with the disco ball in the corner and nice background music that wasn't too loud. The classic cocktails were better than their signature ones. The menu is like Spanish tapas meets fine dining with a few cultural twists, adopting from Japanese and Italian. Some of the dishes are perhaps a bit too creative; I found the rigatoni dish to be a bit like a hodge-podge of different flavours and textures that didn't necessarily taste bad but also didn't go together either. We had the $85 Feed Me menu and the highlights were the croquettes, the kingfish on Jatz and the steak. Every dish was beautifully presented, but overall, the taste was good but not exceptional to justify the price point. That said, I would still come again due to the cool vibe and the really lovely staff. Everyone was genuinely helpful, attentive and nice, and I felt like a valued customer.

My son and his partner are here from Whistler. I talked up Bar Padres to them and you didn’t disappoint. We loved every meal especially the Snapper Crudo.Thanks to all the staff.

Bar Padres was truly spectacular. The venue is quaint and stylish. The woman who looked after us was very super lovely and was genuinely nice. Not in an obviously customer service" kind of way

We had a Mothers Day lunch and the food and service was outstanding. A good variety of dishes, all top quality. The service was equally outstanding. I enjoyed a couple of local beers, pleased to see that local business are supported. We will come back and tell our friends about our experience.

We were originally going to go somewhere else on the Friday night but found it heaps noisy and cramped so we left and discovered this place instead. Glad we did. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place especially if you get sensory overload in noisy places. This place is out of the way from the main street, less busy and has a calm atmosphere

I would like to share my experience of my birthday cake that was generously made for me. It was absolutely delicious and the offer to make it was fantastic as it was not there normal.The tiramisu was traditionally made and tasted delicious and I am very thankful for the guys in making it for my birthday.

A hidden gem near Kiama Little Blowhole! We came here for lunch and the food, drinks and service left us speechless :) The tapas were refreshing and super tasty whereas the grilled duck was extremely tender and well flavoured.Will 100% come back to Kiama again just for Bar Padres! Muchas Gracias :) Muy delicioso.

What a secret little location near the Little Blowhole in Kiama. Nice & intimate with views that are second to none. We used their fine menu to create our own tasting menu & our tastebuds were not disappointed. We've been looking for something like this breathe of fresh air for a while now but nothing has quite gotten there until now. Looking forward to our next adventure here as there are many more dishes on the menu we are yet to experience.
