If you are looking for coffee that puts Italy and France to shame then look no further then this oddly placed Sydney western suburbs cafe. Le Black Owl is a fusion of France and Lebanon among other Mediterranean cultures. This fusion was brought about by its two wonderfully eccentric owners.A Mauritanian French chef with a smile and a laughter that will bring out your inner joy that you never knew you had. An Australian born Lebanese barista who's manners and politeness will make you think your sitting in a royal palace.I have been a regular for years at the couple owners previous (and still operated) cafe Morning Owl. Since the first taste of that bitter black drug that we call coffee, I can no longer consume it at any other cafe anywhere else. Their breakfast menu has creatively cracked the code for dishing out mainstream foods and beverages, for those who want it, whilst maintaining a consistency for being authentic to themselves and fine cuisine.Going to Le Black Owl and experiencing their food and coffee confirms what I already knew and even exceeding, no less, my expectations. As a local of Greenacre, it makes me truely happy that I can pick up a book go to my new favourite local cafe and enjoy what I love most in this world... Food, coffee and spending time with my literary friends.
