Love this place the amenities are so clean and have hot tub spars outside with natural artistion water.Nice camp kitchen. Nice place to relax..And also must try the bakery best pie I have every tasted

Dropped into the visitor information centre to see what we could do for half a day and were treated by a very helpful young lady. A few things we explored were, the river walk, a railway and war museum as well as a drive out to Baldy Top Lookout, but you do have to walk a short distance up the hill to get there. Viewed the Opal Altar at St Finbar’s It Was a good way to spend half a day in Quilpie.

We throughly enjoyed our evening. I mentioned the sound could have been better especially when heavy transports went through the town. Was told they are in the throes of up grading their sound system.Having blankets provided on a cold night was thoughtful. It was nice to be also provided with a drink and a box of nibbles.

Staff members were friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Wonderful presentation overall outlining an extensive history of the Quilpie district. Thoroughly enjoyed recommend this experience.

This is a great little information centre which is also where you'll find a range of different museums. We visited the rail museum, military museum as well as the art gallery.The museums are small, but provide a great insight into the towns history, industry as well as showcases some of the talents of the local people - such a craft bunch!Well worth a stop while in town.

I lovely experience in the outdoor theatre watching the sky change before the show. A good introduction to the area before exploring Quilpie.

Staff are very friendly offering exceptional knowledge of the area. Beautiful indigenous artwork on display & for sale, along with a museum of local history & a military museum too. Well worth a look.

Brilliant experience. Great information session on the Quilpie history and area. Excellent value and lovely touch to include a glass of wine/beer/juice and take home souvenir glass or beer cooler. A must do if you are in Quilpie on a Tues or Thurs.
