Broadwater Beach picnic area
Short walk beyond picnic table (and gas bbq) to beach. Down slight sandy slide to beach..my 76yr old mother wouldnt be able to do it, so could stop some access beach. But BEAUTIFUL beach. Shame 4x4s are allowed, not just ruining natural eco systems but i had to grab my boys out of the way twice!! How is that allowed this day and age with all we're suppose to know about protecting our environment??!! But had a lovely time, kids had a ball.

Broadwater Beach picnic area
Private, and beautiful. Beach is no comparison to the gold coast, but the privacy was what we sought. Would recommend if that's what you are after. It involves a bit of light off-road but nothing a normal car can't cope with. BBQ is down, so beware if that's part of your plan.
