I really needed a massage to loosen up some tight muscles while on holiday in Brisbane. I did a thorough Google search and found Massage at Sanctuary. I booked in for the Women’s day package as I thought some reflexology would be great as well. I was not disappointed! Immediately upon entering this home-based business, I was greeted with hot tea by the very lovely Mayumi and I felt like I could relax immediately. She started with the reflexology first and I thought it couldn’t get better, but then the 90 minute massage was wonderful and I was in heaven. Mayumi was able to loosen the tightness in my back without over aggravating and making me feel really sore afterward- something I have experienced before by other therapists. Mayumi’s treatment room is exceptionally clean, relaxing, and tastefully decorated, with areas to hang clothes and very clean bathroom amenities to use. Mayumi made sure I felt pampered and special! I was very impressed and will definitely be back next time I am in Brisbane!

I highly recommend Massage At Sanctuary for any woman seeking a relaxing massage in a calming environment. I opted for the signature full body massage with head and face massage. Mayumi’s expertise in and passion for a combination of high quality aroma oil blends, trigger points, hot stone treatment, and deep tissue massage techniques made for a wonderful experience. I particularly enjoyed the aroma therapy of oil blends, ‘Love’, ‘Joy’ and ‘Peace’.

The place is so nicely set up for you to instantly feel calm the second your walk in. Mayumi makes the entire experience so relaxing, thoughtfully provides welcome tea and an after-care pack. I would recommend her service and will definitely visit again:)

Massage at Sanctuary was a great experience. Mayumi created a relaxing environment starting with providing slippers when you arrive followed by herbal tea . The massage was fabulous it included essential oils and hot stone therapy. After the 60 minute massage I was offered more herbal tea and given a gift pack to take home including a chocolate, herbal teas and a bath soak. I am now a convert to taking an hour or so to give back to my body. Up till now I have not thought I could receive great value from massage, even instructing 'no head massage' during hair appointments. I always thought there was more value in just getting the service done as efficiently as possible so I could get on with whatever was on my list that day.Of course, I'm now over the 55yr yard arm so am very late to the 'self nurture/reward your body' way of thinking. Never too late though.Mayumi has converted me, having benefitted from two sessions and feeling the wonder of that deep sleep that comes after deep tissue massage. I intend to surrender my workhorse body to the nurturing hands of Mayumi at Massage at Sanctuary at the beginning of each month. Already looking forward to my April booking with the add on Reflexology!
