My worst shopping experience ever. Purchased a high end smoker only to find half the parts were missing when I got it home. Called up the store to get the missing parts but they didn’t want a bar of me - shafted me around to various customer service departments none of which could be bothered to find the parts for me. It was only after a couple of weeks of persistent chasing on my end that I was able to receive the parts. Picked them up in store but the manager was extremely rude and tried to blame me for the parts being missing and offered no apology. Never ever shop here - plenty of other good BBQ retailers out there!!

Wow, just read the reviews & it seems I am one of many. Bought an outdoor setting with 2 year warranty. Perished. Fought to get a credit & bought a smoker & brazier. Both had paint peel off & look terrible. I got a response about the brazier, but not the smoker. First contact Oct 2019. Started emailing in Nov 2019. Called 2/1/2020. Very apologetic on the phone, but no response from Quintin or Ganga. This store needs to abide by the law. Not sure how they keep getting away with it.

Ordered a new BBQ as a gift for family over 4 weeks ago and have had to chase them ever since to see when it would be instore for collection. Really disappointed with this level of service and being told it should be here in a few days" time after time only to be let down again and again. They say delivery 1-6 days on the website but I wouldn't put much faith in this statement based on my own disappointing experience."

Good job on sale, but very poor management and follow up on problems. I purchase a stainless steel BBQ and it was rusting after couple of months, and this is where the problem started.The store ignored multiple calls and just attended the problem when i went in person to the store. The store kept telling they would follow up and call back but never did stating they haven't heard from head office" this was going for weeks. Store manager is particular rude

Very disappointed with the service, purchased an outdoor setting on a Saturday, went to pick it up on Sunday as their warehouse has already closed which we understand, drove all the way to their warehouse only to be told it was not in stock. Instead of organising this from another store to be sent to us (we understand BBQ Galore is an Australian wide brand) they were still unable to get the product to us for over 5 days. I wouldn't have purchased this couch form this store if I had known the delay. All other furniture stores were still able to deliver products on the weekend.

Absolutely appalling. I purchased an outdoor setting on the guarantee it would be delivered in time for a BBQ with friends. The next day I am still waiting and delivery has just been rescheduled again! Would I have bought the setting if I'd known it wouldn't be delivered on time... probably not. I am white hot angry right now- especially over the $69 delivery fee.

I bought a bbq online, picked it up from this store. I went today to return it as it is too big and to buy the small model. The manager, Quintin, was extremely rude. He even blamed me and mocked me for buying online instead that at his store... He didn't help at all, didn't make any attempt to contact Customer Service.I left the store, contacted customer service from their website. They called immediately the store, talked with this person and sorted things out in immediately. I came back there.I bought the small bbq as I needed it for today, but I won't come back.Quintin, maybe the reason why people buy online instead of at your store is to not have to deal with the disrespect and poor level of customer service you are offering.

Absolutely hopeless..! Been waiting over 3weeks for my order which I ordered and purchased for a camping trip but had to postpone twice as of now. Wish they wouldn't tell you something especially if not sure. Contacted on 3 occasions and each occasion they tell you it's coming by certain date only to not..! Not happy and I'll never buy anything from BBQ galore.

I ordered online and opted for click & collect as I needed the items before Christmas and delivery is somewhat sketchy pre-Christmas. The only store that had the products I needed was Moore Park so I opted to collect from there even though it’s not my closest store. After two days I still hadn’t heard anything regarding collection so decided to go into the store. At the store I was told the items I ordered where no longer in stock and the warehouse didn’t have any either or any other store. Not what you want to hear when the order was processed and payment taken online. Staff were a bit nonchalant over the whole thing and told me to call the customer service line. The customer service line on the email confirming my order was incorrect so had to make a few phone calls to finally get the right customer service number to call to arrange to cancel my order and a refund. Two days later I’m still waiting for a confirmation email that my refund is being processed. Overall really poor service which is a shame because it’s a great store.

Purchased a outdoor table from them recently. Paid for the delivery. During the sale there was no mention of how heavy the package would be nor did they say getting it up an elevator would be difficult. Delivery service arrived and immediately started telling me that the table was very heavy and they don’t think they will be able to move it. They asked if I had gloves and could help carry the table. I would assume they would be aware of how heavy these items are and come prepared to move them. We got to the elevator and and they immediately said they could not get it in the elevator. Called the store and spoke to 2 people who were no help whatsoever. We opened the box to try and make it easier to get all the pieces in the elevator but the table came in one large piece and the delivery drivers didn’t want to try get it in the elevator because they still said it was to heavy. They had no idea how to disassemble the table top even though they told me they have had the same issue with this table a number of times (I also asked the bbq galore people on the phone if they knew how to disassemble or could send someone to disassemble and they said they couldn’t help). So we were stuck with a table top downstairs and the delivery people started saying they had to leave and couldn’t take the table back. They left and I looked over the table and figured out how to disassemble it and called a friend who came around to move the pieces up in the elevator. BBQ galore should tell people before purchasing that this product is hard to move if you have an elevator and should also know how to instruct people to disassemble the table if needed. The delivery team should also be able to move this product and should be aware of how to disassemble if required. BBQ galore didn’t bother to call me again to see if everything turned out okay. Customer service does not sound like their strong suit reading some of the other reviews. Would not recommend buying from them.
