Nature Based Play designed and constructed a new Nature Playground in Judy Pannell Reserve for the the City of Canning in mid 2021.This was done as a part of the City's Playground Renewal Project, reflecting community focus on more nature, inclusive and accessible play.Located within the tree sheltered area of the park, the new play area includes different nature play elements integrated together to create a free flowing play adventure. There are spaces for sitting, exploring, climbing and balancing, as well as a basket swing that can hold multiple children, and an artistic carving with flowers significant to the Park's namesake Judy Pannell.The natural look and feel of the nature play elements integrated well with the existing park’s natural settings, and adjacent Canning River Regional Park.
