The BMI regularly uses Troop Employment when our bar is operating for events. Belinda is always very helpful and easy to work with. She will always try to work to find the best solution for our events and staffing needs. Troop Events
We hired Troop Events to provide wait staff for our wedding reception in March and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. We understand the challenges of recruiting staff in current times however found the waitstaff we were provided on the night to be unprofessional and inexperienced. We even saw one of the waitstaff eating a canapé off the serving tray she was holding while guests were starting to arrive. Staff were also provided with a roll of 100 garbage bags to dispose of rubbish from the night, instead they put the whole nights worth of rubbish into 1 garbage bag...1!! Obviously when we tried to move the bag, carefully without even lifting it, it tore open and we had 150 guests worth of food scraps and left overs pour all over the floor which we had to clean ourselves... the morning after our own wedding. Seems like the waitstaff would benefit from more thorough training or supervision during events such as weddings.We were not even contacted at any point after the wedding to see how the event went or seek feedback. Strange for a new company trying to build a good reputation in the wedding industry.

We engaged Troop Events services for a private party at our home and the team were excellent. The service was extremely professional and the team managed the night perfectly, enabling myself and husband to enjoy the beautiful evening with our friends and family. Belinda was fantastic at organising the bar and wait staff for our wedding at Eurambeen Historic Homestead. Knowing that she was in full control provided us with comfort and allowed us to focus our own efforts on getting married! The reception went very smoothly, and our guests were well looked after.
