The Possum Shed Cafe
Used to be very nice food & service, but, Scones were stale, coffee was week, only one shot in mug, had to pay extra $1 for another coffee shot!!99% cafe serve double shot in a mug.Staff touching food with bare hands, then wiping on dirty aprons!!Very disappointed as have had better on previous visits.

Great little pit stop on the way to Russel falls. Plenty of parking and seating options vary from indoor, near the park and overlooking the review.Pleasant staff and tasty food. We opted for the Aussie burger which was good and the scones are decent too.Very good coffee

A lovely stop for morning tea or lunch. If you don't see platypus, you know they can't be far away. Highly recommended.

This was such a gem of a find!The food was delicious and fresh. Had the Buddha bowl and nachos which both were nice and big servings.Also had the scones which were amazing! So soft, light and warm and so delicious with jam and cream!!We sat outside in the nice warm sun with the beautiful view of the fields/hills and little creek.

Best scones both my partner and I have ever had !Coffee was also smooth and absolutely delicious.Beautiful river view with seating inside and out.Topped off with friendly service

Good coffee, family friendly. Shady and sunny spots outside. Lovely sound of river. Turkey wrap was good, healthy and filling.

Beautiful place to sit & listen to nature. I had a coffee & ham wrap while watching the ducks swim along the river. Fresh food & really friendly staff

The Possum Shed was such an unexpected Morning Tea gem (just before we arrived at Mt Field National Park) that we scooted back from our hike to have Lunch there on the way back to Hobart.On a cool and wet day the delicious Pumpkin Soup and warm Multigrain Rolls were perfect!A truly magical setting with warm and incredibly hospitable service from owner Renee and her team…thank you so much!So very pleased we stumbled upon The Possum Shed.

The Possum Shed Cafe
Super friendly service. The food looked and smelled delicious but we just had the coffee which was excellent. Beautiful set up inside and out, with a lovely creek behind. Lots of ducks and birds for entertainment. Definitely worth a stop. They even had gluten free cake!
