Love this Iga it is the best one locally and surrounding suburbs plenty of different stock

One very pleasant surprise when visiting Leongatha is this Sushi shop inside the IGA. The freshest Sushi and great coffee made by a delightful young lady who's service was second to none.The IGA itself was well stocked and organised with large isles and an abundance of products to choose from. Keep up the great work!

Please be very careful when purchasing items from the freezer section at this store. On 14/4/23 I purchased a Quorn fillet item, which I've purchased elsewhere for years with no problems. Unfortunately when I bit into this product bought from the Galston IGA, it caused serious dental damage as it was significantly out of date. It was like biting into a rock and fractured a tooth, requiring over $2,000 in urgent dental work. It is illegal to sell out of date food but the company has refused liability so I will have a protracted fight to try and get them to accept responsibility. I confirmed with the store manager my bank debit entry for the purchase and they confirm the particular item was sold on that date. The incident has been reported to Hornsby Council which is responsible for ensuring shops comply with the law by not selling out of date food. You don't expect a supposedly reputable company to sell items like this. Please ensure you don't rely on this company's reputation, and check every item's use by date carefully before you pay them for it as they obviously don't check the freezer's appropriately and dispose of expired food.

A good place to shop, and can generally get what you need and require. The staff are friendly and helpful.

So different from the big W. Peaceful and I was able to choose goods of quality and reasonable price, not shelves full of the same brands and not much choice.Check out was polite and efficient.
