Dined last night with my two best friends. We loved everything about Louie - from the ambience, service, drinks to the food of course. We were 15 minutes late for our booking, and we were aware there was a seating following ours, however we did not feel rushed and all the waitstaff were so friendly from the start. Our waiter (although I don't know his name) was so charming, polite and attentive. In terms of food, it is absolutely the best Italian food in Sydney that I have had, and I will count down the days till I can visit again! Well done on such an amazing restaurant, it is just what Coogee and (Sydney) needed!

Perfect, quaint addition to Coogee! Beautiful colonial aesthetics, fun cocktails (Margs & amaretto sour), friendly & authentic service and good food! Will definitely return!

It's been a while I've been wanting to try Louie and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cosy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. The service was exceptional, with Mercedes and Dani being attentive, friendly and accommodating throughout the entire evening. You definitely need to order the eggplant parmigiana, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The rest of the food was equally impressive, fresh and also authentic. The food, service and ambiance are all top-notch. A well-deserved 5 stars

This place is such a vibey location for a cute little dinner ! The food is pretty simple. Nothing overly WOW but still great dishes! The butter and bread that you receive at the start is divine and such a great touch ! Perfect mood lighting and aesthetic too !

Fantastic neighborhood restaurant and something Coogee has been missing. A very well considered and delicious menu, fantastic wine list and friendly staff. We had the stuffed zucchini flowers, ocean trout tartare, blue swimmer crab campenelle and seafood platter. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Washed down with a punchy Italian Rosato. Couldn’t fault it, a future coogee classic. Molto bene!

Loveee Louie! I visited a few times with my girlfriend, the ambience was perfect - the lighting was warm and welcoming, the decor was chic and stylish, and the atmosphere was buzzing with a fantastic energy and to top it off an awesome crowd. We love the presentation of the dishes! It’s tasty, authentic and perfectly balanced. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it felt like they were genuinely happy to have us there. All in all, I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly.

had high hopes for louie but was unfortunately disappointed. really wanted to like this place!started off promising with sourdough and truffle butter which was lovely. calamari was average and so were the zucchini flowers- i've had better for both (bopp and tone makes amazing zucchini flowers). salmon carpaccio tasted like fish in olive oil- bland.ragu was good but why was it drowning in oil? it left the dish feeling very heavy and overly rich.and tell me why the fries were warm and not freshly fried, and almost soggy? how does a restaurant mess up fries of all dishes?did not have the tiramisu but my partner said it was good so that's hopeful.2.5 stars.
