Could not be happier with my sleep apnea consultant Biju.

I would never recommend anyone to this place! Very worrying and anxious time, hard to deal with!

I was correctly diagnosed with sleep apnea. However, I was given only one option of treatment - the mandibular splint which brings your lower jaw forward to hopefully stop your tongue/muscles closing your airway. I discovered by myself later that there are actually several ways to treat apnea with many designs to choose from. To begin with I was given a $250 trial mouthguard which was absolutely useless because it's not molded to your teeth and therefore extremely uncomfortable and impossible to sleep with because it brings your jaw forward WAY TOO much. Went with the mandibular splint after saving my pennies because I thought it was my only option. I have tried sleeping with my $1750 mouthguard for 10 months with no success. Anyone with sleep apnea will understand this is too long to be living everyday with severe fatigue, headaches and other symptoms of SA. After several trips back to the dentist (Carnegie) and dental technician (docklands) for alterations I still experience extreme discomfort, excessive drooling (until I'm gagging from extreme dehydration), jaw pain, teeth sensitivity and I still snore if I can manage to fall asleep wearing it! The key to adjust it broke and was replaced with another key that rusted, and the adjustment screw on the mouthguard somehow stopped moving so I had to send it to the dental technician and wait 2 weeks for it to be fixed. Called Sheryl Lee to discuss my issues and see if I could get a refund and she laughed at me and offered a pathetic $50 discount on alternative treatment.
