Georgetown Memorial Park
Great little overnight stay with a short walk to hotel with one of the best country pub meals Ive had and very friendly locals.However,the house next to the park contains some VERY vicious dogs and I was attacked and had to receive hospital treatment.If you have small dogs or children I would use extreme caution or even stay elsewhere.

We thought about staying 3 nights but left after 1 because of the neighbours dog. Barking all day long, not enjoyable for the stay.Otherwise great facility and playground. We wish we could have stay longer

A free RV parking area for 5 - 6 vehicles adjacent to the Memorial Park with a flat gravel base. Good facilities on-siteTime and Cost: Donation camp with no apparent time limit.Access: Off the main road in the centre of Georgetown.Facilities: Small flat gravel parking area with toilet block, showers ($1 for 2 mins of hot water), potable water and bin. No dump point. Good TV and mobile reception.Ambiance: Georgetown is very quiet and very little road noise.Good location for facilities. Suit an overnight stopover as there isn't much to do in town.
