JL's Glamorous Nails

Today I had a french set at this salon. It has been a hit and miss lately. The staff member did a terrible job on my nails, had to ask for her to fix it, she was rude about it and worst of all they all took no ownership. I don’t know the girls name but she appeared relatively inexperienced. This was the worst experience. Oh and she cut me while overdrilling my nails and then tried to file over the wound. This place has gone downhill. I feel sorry for the owner because when he is there the issue gets resolved quickly. Very disappointed.

i went there and i felt really uncomfortable. i felt as if they were talking about me. also kept demanding me to do things and i felt really awkward because i didn’t know what i was doing wrong. the sns set i got wasn’t what i was as looking for and it didn’t look great. don’t recommend.

Owner who is Caucasian came off super racist when we first came in the salon and he immediately started a guess game of what race we were Chinese? Malaysian? Phillipino?". When we said we are uncomfortable on how he came off he shouted "What?! I can't know where you're from?" and continued to be really persistent.Nails done was a standard 6/10 but what made the experience worse was that the nail technicians also were incredibly rude and 100% was confident they were talking about us in their native tongue after we confronted the owner's behaviour.One of the lady technician pushed around my sister's finger to instruct her to dry off her nails to the fan

I asked for coffin shaped nails, not round, not almond. Not exactly sure what I got but i was not satisfied. The polish was also rushed and messy, as you can see in my photos.After explaining I am not satisfied and wish to soak my nails off, I was told it would take “too long” and ended up having to leave with nails I am not happy with. It seems as though owner and workers care more about leaving on time, rather than customer care and satisfaction.Mind you, I got these done for my 21st birthday and was willing to pay extra $ to get what i asked for, and was still refused to change them.Don’t recommend.

Terrible, I broke 3 nails in less than a week, it's been years since I broke a nail. They were lumpy and colour was transparent due to not using enough coats, which also contributed to the breaks because they were not strong/thick enough. Will never go back.

UNSATISFACTORY CLIENT EXPERIENCE! Unfortunately a terrible experience for my wife in which she was referred to JL’s Glamorous Nails in Hallam by her Mum who was a regular client here. They botched my wife’s nails, who raised the issue politely and was just smirked at. Absolutely no professionalism or accountability for a terrible job.

I have been a few times now and have received great service and my nails always look amazing. I get SNS and they last 4-5 weeks without fail. I would definitely recommend.

I love this Salon! Ive been coming here for nearly a year now, I come here every month when my SNS needs to be done again and they never fail with there customer service and the finishing product with my nails. I bring my friends here and I recommend everyone I know to go there! ❤️
