I did my freediving course with adventure freedivers And I have since done a bit training with them. I have consistently felt supported throughout the entire journey and have received so much encouragement from the instructors who are so patient and knowledgeable. I always feel safe when I dive with these guys and always leave with a smile on my face!Definitely five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Best free dive I’ve ever done! Instructors were so sick! They made the whole session feel as if I was there best mate! Was so comfortable and never felt like I was pushed too far! 100% would do it again!

I can't recommend Max highly enough to either kick start your free diving journey or improve your dives, she goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and safe and is extremely generous with her time. Her passion for the ocean and freediving shines in and out of the water!

I just did my beginner Freedive course through Adventure Freedivers with Max.It was awesome!I have been trying to freedive recreationally and spearfish with friends for about 12 years and thought that self teaching would be fine.It turns out freediving is one of the less intuitive activities out there. Having Max explain and coach me through all of my bad habits was probably harder than learning it from scratch but worked really well.I wish I had done a course like this much earlier in life.While these guys are usually booked out, they managed to fit me in with one weeks notice.We had a small class, plenty of high quality instruction, with lots of time to work on specific techniques.I did the pre course learning that was sent out via email, which was full of good videos and an exam that made me visit all the important sections in the freedive manual that was provided. Took me about 3 hours, but mostly because I kept reading all the other sections and found it well written and easy to be immersed in.So what gains did I see?Firstly I added 60 seconds to my static breath hold, face underwater but relaxed.My finning technique improved, going further and faster for the same effort.My duck dive was worked on. It gave me around 4-5 extra free meters at the hardest part of the dive.I dived deeper than I had before, thanks to Max teaching me interesting ways to equalise when deeper.I learned how far to push myself, in what situations.And what I have been most interested in, I learned how to then practiced saving my dive buddy from several different types of emergencies. I now feel like I would be useful if something ever went wrong.10/10 - Highly recommend for everyone

I had a chance to train under Max's supervision. And this was an absolutely fantastic experience. In no time you understand that this tiny charming lady is a Professional made of steel! Somehow she combines fun and easy approaches in explaining quite complex topics of theory while keeping it short and highly informative. But the best part was with the physical exercises. Max knew how to set individual goals to her students and motivated each one accordingly. Supportive words for one and a good kick for another. As a result the group achieved performance levels we didn't even think were possible! When you emerge above the water, you don't believe your dive watches!Overall, I highly recommend Adventure Freedivers Manly to anyone from begginer to advanced level. Max will give you knowledge, confidence for safe and relaxed dives while making you a diving beast in no time.

I started learning freediving this year and was lucky enough to do my course with Adventure Freedivers. My instructor Maxine was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient in assisting me to build up my skills. Most importantly, safety is always taken seriously during the training sessions, so you can always feel at ease with a peace of mind.I would highly recommend anyone to kickstart their learning with Adventure Freedivers to get into the sport.

My instructor Max is an absolute gem and was an incredible teacher throughout the whole weekend. She was encoraging and really helped overcome any doubts i had for the time i spent in the water. I really recommend doing a course with Advenure Freedivers! Totally worth it

I always have the most amazing experiences diving with Adventure Freedivers. Maxine is a great teacher, she knows what she's doing and explains and breaks things down in such great ways. If it wasn't for her and her help and support I wouldn't have reached my personal best depth in Mt Gambier ♥️Go adventure freedivers!!
