Cobar Miners Lodge

Work related stay for about a month. Great hosts, rooms are small but adequate. Clean , tidy & comfy. Great hosts. Big home cooked meals. Highly Recommended

Cobar Miners Lodge is a fantastic place to get a cool sleep, shower & refresh. Call Kane if you're need to get off the road to stay safe doing the long drives. He helped us out big time. Can't thank him enough. Great little town and people. Highly recommend.

Well looked after well feed and the hospitality was amazing from deb's and kane 100 percent recommend it to anyone thats staying in cobar or going past there thanks guys hope to see use soon much love state asphalt crew

Stayed at the lodge for about 13 months for work an was a great place to stay. The meals were amazing an deb an kane were alwasy good company

I have been a guest at the lodge for a few weeks now and I was made feel welcome from the moment I arrived and the hospitality goes above and beyond my expectations. The meals are huge and absolutely delicious with a great selection and served on time.There are always plenty of fresh fruits and other snack items including a variety of ice cream.The proprietors Kane and Debbie and their children are friendly and are always willing to help with any requests.The rooms are tidy with clean linen and a reverse cycle air conditioner and a television with free to air and pay tv channels.The miner’s lodge is located close to shops and in walking distance.I highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to my next visit

Nice quiet location, comfortable and the best kitchen in town. But most of the hospitality is second to none! Debby and Kane made us feel more than welcome and nothing was a problem. Highly recommend!

Great overnight stop. My room was a brand new renovation. Quality fittings, good linen, good mattress, hot shower with good pressure, excellent and quiet air-con. Dinner was great and HUGE, breakfast of Bacon and Eggs on toast was so big I didn't eat for the rest of the day. The whole premise is clean and tidy and just a nice place to be. The hosts are fabulous people, friendly and accommodating. I felt very welcomed and will most certainly stop here again when traversing the long drive across the middle. An oasis in the desert if you will.

The room was tidy, great for a stay when working.Cool AC and all amenities provided.Food was awesome and the staff were very friendly.

We were driving through to Adelaide and understood most of the area was booked with holiday makers etc. We turned to Cobar Miners Lodge as the only place left with accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised Kane offered us a Miner's Room with ensuite. Further this included a miner's dinner and breakfast. This place is great, staff fantastic - a hidden gem. Not the Ritz but something out of the ordinary and well worth a try. Definite value for the money. Highly recommended.
